Do not worry about what your naked
body looks like - for we cater to normal human beings with tubby bits,
bulges, wobbly parts and even nose hair - pimples and sagginess.... so come
and get your kit off and find out how it can turn your life around and just
see how healing it can be. Of course, you do not have to go naked,
clothing is optional and the choice is all yours.
Hamilton Hall is a
Clothing Optional venue where you may go naked at any time. By
removing your clothes you remove many hidden layers of conditioning that
often holds you back from your full potential, and when you accept
your naked body for being a thing of beauty, regardless of age, shape or
anything else, true growth can then follow. It's totally your
choice. If you wish to remain clothed, we respect that.
Room sharing may also be an option offered. Our charges remain the
same regardless of sharing or winter / summer season and we offer sharing
on a 'random choice' basis when you make your reservation. If you snore
heavily, let us know in advance so we can make arrangements accordingly.
This is
 one of the reasons we do not allow women in the venue.
If any womens group would like to rent the entire venue to facilitate a
workshop / party / retreat or other event, we would be delighted to assist
and offer as much help and assistance as we can.
For health and safety reasons, as a venue with naked gay and bisexual
men, if we refuse your reservation, no offense is meant.
We cater to the
individual and we must always be conscious and aware of the group setting,
and to this aim, if we refuse your reservation,
please try and be understanding and respectful.
With a few exceptions, it is
unlawful to discriminate directly or indirectly on grounds of sex in
the provision of goods, facilities or services to the public, or a
section of the public or in the disposal or management of premises. The
main exceptions include:
Discrimination by
non profit making voluntary bodies in restricting their
membership to one sex or providing benefits to one sex only in accordance
with their main object.
Discrimination in
the provision of facilities or services to avoid serious embarrassment
to users which would be caused by the presence of members of the
opposite sex.

Hamilton Hall
will always remain a MEN
ONLY VENUE where naked gay and bisexual men can feel free and
relaxed and not worry about women being within the building causing
serious emotional and physical embarrassment and confusion. We
mean absolutely no offense to women;- while gay men often love women's
company, there are times when we need our own space to be free to say
and act how we please without causing innocent offense or serious
embarrassment on both sides. Sometimes mixing the sexes is just not
appropriate, despite what the law and some individuals claim.
Sometimes women are simply not welcome.
Communal accommodation
- residential accommodation which includes dormitories or other shared
sleeping accommodation, can be restricted to one sex only for reasons
of privacy and decency or because of the nature of the sanitary
facilities available. [S.46 SDA]
Hamilton Hall is a retreat style hotel where shared
accommodation is always offered and this helps us keep our prices down
and a great deal more offered for the price you pay than is usually
available.
As usual, we have heard absolutely nothing at all from the government
concerning the law change recently and it is not easy to find information on
the web sites available, but the above information seems to cover what we
need and states we can limit our guests to men only to stop any
embarrassment and unease. If anyone can point me in the right direction for
more detailed information, I would be grateful as I do not wish to cause
offense or hurt to anyone and want to abide by the law while maintaining the
atmosphere of gentle calm for gay and bisexual men within Hamilton Hall.

because so many people talk about you as the voice of spirituality in
the UK and the only venue worthy of staying in. I am thrilled to
say that they are right. Talking with you was exciting. I found you to
be someone who had a vision for gay people and someone who kept the gay
soul alive and in such a wonderful place as Hamilton Hall. We
Americans can be such spoiled brats when we travel abroad and except
everything to be done the American way, yet your wonderful home
certainly filled me with awe. I shall tell everyone I meet

thoroughly recommend to my friends. Hamilton Hall is truly
stunning and I congratulate you on the relaxed atmosphere and the

stay I found a warm and relaxing greeting and totally enjoyed my stay.

Bournemouth's Pride event, Bourne Free, is back for
2008 and extended to 3 days. Things kick off on Friday 11th July and go on
to Sunday 13th. As in previous years, the majority of the events are
completely free. Bournemouth's fifth annual Bourne Free Pride Festival will
take over the seaside resort for 3 days, from Friday 11th until Sunday 13th
of July. The event is a colourful celebration of all diversities that live
in the area and the constant strive towards universal equality for all –
through entertainment and awareness. Last year the event attracted thousands
of people from across the UK, so for 2008 it has been extended across an
entire weekend with more going on than ever before.
JAZZ NIGHT
To kick things off in style, a brand new Jazz Night at the Lower Gardens
bandstand has been introduced for 2008. The evening of music starts at
7.30pm on Friday 11th July and will provide 3 hours of free entertainment
for everyone to enjoy. The organisers are encouraging people to bring along
a picnic and spend a relaxing evening listening to the smooth sounds of live
jazz artists as the sun goes down over Bournemouth.
PRIDE PARADE
Saturday 12th July will be a time to "Support our Services" with a
fun-filled procession through Bournemouth from 1pm. Everyone is invited to
get dressed up as sexy doctors and nurses, hunky soldiers and sailors, and
firemen too! The parade has a brand new route for 2008, starting at 1pm in
Meyrick Park and travelling alongside the Town Hall and The Square then
continuing up to The Triangle (the town's gay village) before passing the
seafront at Pier Approach and finishing on Westover Road.
LIVE SHOW
From 2pm to 5pm on Saturday 12th July, the trademark Bourne Free show takes
place with a variety of entertainment at the Lower Gardens bandstand. There
will be a great line up of top acts including a variety of performers, from
singers and musicians to drag artists and comedy acts. In addition, there
will be plenty of Information Stalls to browse and there is of course
Bournemouth's stunning 7 miles of golden sandy beach to explore!
STREET PARTY
This year the massive Street Party in The Triangle is being extended from
5pm through to 11pm on Saturday 12th July. There will be a larger stage with
entertainment, a massive beer tent, VIP area and a range of market stalls.
Entry to the Street Party, and all of the town's gay venues over the
weekend, will require a Bourne Free Wristband. These are available in
advance for £5 from
www.bournefree.co.uk and also on the night for £10, these are limited so
it is advisable to get them early.
MORE FUN!
Many of Bournemouth's gay pubs, bars and clubs will also be hosting their
own special events throughout the weekend. There are some exciting launch
nights planned for Friday 11th July and after the Street Party finishes on
Saturday 12th July most venues will be open into the early hours to keep the
fun going all night long. Finally, on Sunday 13th July, there will be an
afternoon event at The Branksome and the Raffle Draw at The Xchange.
