SPIRITUAL PAGES - Global Warming

By  John Bellamy

We are not solely responsible for what is happening with global warming, although we are responsible for helping cause a great deal of damage to Mother Earth.

Over millions of years and many lives and civilizations, the human soul has evolved and grown to seek enlightenment and when on an individual level a soul is ready,  its energy awakens to a higher plane of existence and the soul moves into a higher octave - or a higher vibration of being, and moves up into the 4th - 5th and even higher dimension of reality unknown to us here.  Individually we have been evolving like this for eons of time and now it is time for Mother Earth to move on with her spiritual journey and like us - she is stretching her legs - reaching out and awakening to the wonders that are before her, and if we are lucky, we will go along for the ride.

As Mother earth transcends to a new dimension of higher energy,  our weather will seem crazy and erratic,  and there will be far worse to come. Far worse, because we are creating it with our negative and fear based lifestyles - created and nurtured by the government and big business.

As Mother Earth raises her energies ready for 'the leap' - and as she looks forward into a new era of spiritual being,  all those who are not prepared - not ready - could find themselves left behind and it is said that millions will not make the journey - millions will die - although when re born, will join us again on the higher planes of existence.   And this new beginning means no more crappy karma from the past to drag around.  No more dealing with stuff from past lives and no more mysteries as to why things happen.  We start this new age with a clean slate and it is up to us how we continue forward.

Mother Earth is ready for the leap and if we are not, then we will loose out.  Those who have been preparing for this time - like the Mayan's who wrote the first calendar where  it was stated 'the end of time' was in 2012 - or more accurately -  the 'end of an era' -  ( for the Mayans could not see beyond the ending of the old time - the Pisceans Age - into the new age - the Aquarian Age,)  will find the Diamond Age of enlightenment before us and a whole new game will be in play.
The grids around Mother earth are colliding and re joining - The Indigo Children's grid is nearly complete and the vast array of grids that divide us as individuals - from each other and between our physical and non physical ( light body ) are coming together - joining - to form a powerful energy vibration that will assist Mother earth on her journey.  The grids are helped by many of the aspects taught here at Hamilton Hall as the breath work we teach  is one of the strongest bridges between the grids of the physical and the Light Body and as more people awaken to its vast energy held within each of us - and as more people attend various workshops and read articles and awaken to many of the truths,  with each new enlightened thought - action and deed - global warming and Mother Earth vibrations speeds up - and it may seem as if time is running away from us.  As the energies and time speed up - the vibration of the earths orbit and heart beat slows down, and it seems as if everything remains constant - the same - but you only have to ask anyone how 'time flies' to  know that something is happening - something vast - and we are just part of a much bigger story in play.

So rejoice.

We have chosen to be here at this amazing time in Earth's history for never has anything like this, on such a vast scale, happened before. Never have so many souls been alive and actively engaged in assisting this to happen correctly and never before have so many of us been here to witness this happening.

And happen - it will.    And happen, it is.

Is Daylight Savings Time

Costing Us Billions in Electricity?

I read the report below about Day Light Saving and remembered the controversy that has been goping on for decades here in the UK about stopping it - as it was only really brought in to help farmers - and as we live in a different world - and as it appears to be unhelpful in cutting green house gasses,  it looks as if it would be a gopod idea to cut this old fashioned practice out.

Ever since being implemented in the early 1900′s, considerable controversy has surrounded the use of Daylight Saving Time. The practice benefits sports, retail (the extra daylight after the end of working hours means more shopping), and leisure activities reliant on sunlight. But it causes problems for farmers, who must work after morning dew dries, and the entertainment industry, which loses primetime viewers.

Yet Daylight Saving Time has remained seemingly debate-proof, thanks to its most important contribution: it saves energy. But this no longer seems to be the case–and instead, it could be increasing worldwide energy demand and costing billions of dollars every year.

Daylight Saving Time Saves Energy?

The foremost rationale behind DST has always been energy conservation–from sparing coal usage for incandescent lighting in the 1910′s to conserving oil during the embargo in the 1970′s. The underlying logic seems to make sense: more daylight hours, less electricity needed for lighting. Daylight Saving was even extended in 2007 under the pretext that it saved energy–whether people liked it or not.

But a 2008 study from the University of California Energy Institute revealed that there’s actually very little evidence to suggest DST saves any energy at all.

A Natural Experiment in Indiana

The study takes its data from a natural experiment done in Indiana, which provided information on residential energy consumption. From this, the study’s authors were able to “provide the first empirical estimates of DST effects on electricity consumption in the United States since the mid-1970s.”

It’s an in-depth statistical analysis of a vast set of Indiana residents’ electrical bills:

Focusing on residential electricity demand, we conduct the first-ever study that uses micro-data on households to estimate an overall DST effect. The dataset consists of more than 7 million observations on monthly billing data for the vast majority of households in southern Indiana for three years.

The main finding? Daylight Saving Time actually increases electricity demand, instead of lessening it. DST caused electrical demand to rise almost 1 percent each year overall–with a much heavier increase of 2-4 percent in the fall, when residents “fall back” an hour.

The Cause and Cost of DST’s Increased Electrical Demand

The culprit is most likely a tradeoff between the reduced demand for lighting and an increased demand for heating and cooling–and it’s a trade that DST is on the losing end of. (TreeHugger has reported similar findings.) While supposedly conserving electricity for lighting, DST is requiring even more energy for heating and air conditioning–around $9 million more. That’s right, the study estimates DST actually costs Indiana residents $9 million a year. And the kicker? The study projects the effect is even more pronounced in other areas of the US and the world. That could easily amount to billions of dollars a year spent on unnecessary energy consumption.

As the study points out, Daylight Saving is practiced in 76 countries and affects around 1.6 billion people. If indeed it turns out that it’s causing needless energy consumption–eradicating the long held convention could spare countless pounds of greenhouse gas, and save economies around the globe considerable strain. Thus, stopping Daylight Savings Time might even help combat global warming.

I suppose I am lucky - as I do not have to get up in the morning and wait in the dark and the cold for a bus toi work - or drive in the dark
to work, and then drive home again in the dark.  Having worked for myself at home for over 3 decades,  I am spoiled.  But I use to work in a venue decades ago that had no natural light to work within, and with no light in the morning or evening,  this was dreadful on peoples health and the government serems ignorant as to the importance of sunlight to keep many from suffering from depression in the winmter mon ths - caused by lack of sunlight, which activates the Melatonin in your system.

Maybe it is time to change Day Light Savings and stoip it once and for all.
