WOOLWICH KILLING

Whan a man has his head hacked off with a machete in broad daylight and yards from a  school - by a Christian man who has turned Muslim,  then there is something very wrong with society and the reasons behind such an act, and we - the masses - will have to look beyond the news given, excuses and reasons offered, as little will be indicative of the truth.

 Woolwich attack: Statement from Stop the War Coalition and CND

The attack in Woolwich yesterday was horrific. There can be no justification for a murderous attack on an individual soldier in the streets of London. It must have been awful too for the local people who witnessed it.

The Woolwich attack, carried out by two men now shot and wounded and under arrest in hospital, appears to represent a phenomenon that was pointed out nearly a decade ago by the security services in Britain: that the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq would lead to a growing threat of terrorism in Britain. Many of us have long predicted that these sorts of attacks would happen because of the war on terror.

The men claimed that the killing of the soldier was in response to the killing of Muslims by British soldiers in other countries. One said that the government did not care for people and should get the troops out.

The response from the government has been to declare this a major terrorist incident. We do not yet know whether they had wider connections or whether this was a one off incident.

But the government response fails to deal with the political causes underlying such attacks. There were no such cases in Britain before the start of the ‘war on terror’ in 2001, which led to the invasions and occupations of Afghanistan and Iraq. The consequences of those wars have been devastating for the people of those countries and further afield. Up to a million died in Iraq and 4 million were made refugees. Tens of thousands have died in Afghanistan. Fighting still continues and in Iraq looks like descending into civil war in some parts of the country.

The balance sheet of the last decade and more would demonstrate that the war on terror has been a failure in its own terms. It has not prevented terrorism but caused it to spread.

It has also led to a rise in Islamophobia in Britain and elsewhere. The invasion and occupation of mainly Muslim countries abroad has to lead to the dehumanising of the victims of the wars. Racists like the EDL turned up in Woolwich to try to further foster Islamophobia. 

We call on all everyone to resist any racist backlash as a result of this attack.

We also call on the government to recognise the damage done by these wars and to change its foreign policy accordingly.

I am so saddened by what has happened in London this week, with a 25 year old soldier having his head - basically - hacked off in the streets and having his body dragged into the middle of the road so the media can get a good look.  Awful. Absolutely awful.  My prayers go to all those involved and to the family and friends of the young man killed.   Too young - a wasted life - and for what ?  

Of course, murder of innocent civilians happens all the time in Afghanistan and Iraq and we barely even hear it on the news, and the cause - is us - the west,  and our greed for oil.

I think we will all agree that the manner in which the west has behaved towards those in a country that have oil or some other natural resorce we need,  have been dreadfully treated by those wishing to make use of those natural resorces.  Creating excuses to go to war with these countries if they do not heed to the rule of those western powers  is as transparant and plainly obvious if you just open your eyes and look.  Spin is spun by clever people in politics and the gormless public who are half asleep most of the time just 'go along' - and assume the government is right and that what they hear on the TV news and in the papers must be true,  and the governments and armies of the west spend billions of £ of our hard earned tax money - destroying an innocent country and all in the quest for oil.  Excuses are made and reasons given but we all know the truth ... IT IS FOR OIL - and anything else is just lies,  lies and more lies.   

We cannot rely on MI5 or the CIA to give accurate and precise information as look at the threat of 45 minutes for Sadam Heussin to launch nuclear weapons,  which all turned out to be bullshit, yet Tony Blair was the last to admit it was wrong,  and this is the man in charge - this is the man who sends the armed forces in to kill and maim and destroy hundreds of thousands of peoples lives and why - BAD INFORMATION - as how can we ever rely in information like this to be truthful ever again.

We all know it was all just as excuse to go to war - to dominate and destroy - to grab and take over a country because of oil,  and in so doing, use spin to make it appear as if we were the good guys hunting down terrorists - but by our very actions, have created a terror threat that has come back to bite us badly in the bum and cause the armed forces to want and need billions of £ in support,  and a very reason to exist.   It is all an excuse to destroy a nation of people who are Muslim and in so doing,  destroy their culture and religion and stir up the shit for Muslims around the world and turn them into the Bogey Man to be feared and hated - and millions of innocent peace loving people are cast into the hell fire of damnation just because they believe something different and come from a different culture.

Britain is guilty of war crimes against nations that had no reason to be invaded by anyone, and using Sadam as an excuse is really lame.  It's almost childishly lame and any parent would tell a child not to lie straight away if this was a childs story, yet because politicians and armed generals claim something,  too many dumb schmucks just blindly agree and go along believing it all to be the truth, when sadly, we have all been massively lied to.

The terrorist is not the Muslim - the terrorist is the lack of truthful input from our own governments and powers-that-be. The terrorist is the lie.

I feel desperately sorry for the young army man murdered in the streets of London this week and for his family.  My prayers are with them. 

I feel desperately sorry for all the families who have lost innocent family members, men, women, children, young and old, brutally murdered by an invading force determined to undermine everything they believe in and hold dear, - culture,  religion and even  life style.  

I feel desperately sorry for the two guys who committed the murder in Woolwich, as who knows the reasons why they found themselves so 'up against the wall';  in what is their own country - England - and feeling so helpless that they felt this was the only way they had of getting attention for what they think the world needs to see and realise, and they were willing to put their lives on the line to make that point.  

Absolute madness,  but not without a reason, and not because we have been good and kind and thoughtful and loving to them, as obviously we have not.  They will now be called ' home grown terrorists'   - and there is always another story hidden by the authorities - and that story will be the truth.

I am sure we will be fed another load of lies and manipulation of the truth and there will be a huge outcry against Muslims and I pray something like this will motivate the people of England to demand an end to the various wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and bring the troops home and leave the people of these countries to govern themselves, and if they want to fight each other and creat havoc for their own people, that really is up to them,  and trying to give them democracy - a thing that really does not work very well for us here in the west so why should we be so arrogant to assume it will for them,  is not for us to do.  The west only worries in case the flow of oil comes to a grinding halt and then what ??? Chaos on our own streets, so the wars go on,  thousands are murdered each year and when death in this fashion comes onto our own shores, we scream, blue murder - but say and do fuck all when it is 'over there' as they are foreign - they are Muslims so they must be guilty and because the authorities tell us so.

Corporate power has a lot to answer for and politicians who bow and scrape to them are the real terrorists, like the bankers and the corrups business' who fiddle their taxes.  

It's time for people to wake up and realize who really is the bad guys here.
 

 

As hard as life appears,  and as much as you want to cry your eyes out for what the hell is going on, and as  impotant as we may feel to be able to do anything about it,  we have to carry on, pick up the pieces and keep going, and laughter is a powerful tool to healing. 

I do not encourage anyone to smoke a spliff - which will chill you out, calm you down and relax you.  .  Maybe a legal drink or two down the pub which can make you agressive and causes more fights in town centres on weekends and more dysfuctional families and chaos.







 

WAR HORSES
 

Has anyone seen this film.  It's a bit of an epic story with these beautiful horses - absolutely beautiful animals,  and it is a bit of a tear jerker - but the end... OH MY GOD - what was Speilberg thinking.  No - I am not going to give the story away but just to say the way he has filmed it in the closing scenes is straight out of Gone With The Wind and if and when you see it,  you will know exactly what I mean.

It's a moving epic story and well worth seeing but have your tissues handy.


LIFE OF PI

Everyone kept telling me I shopuldf see this film, so as soon as it came out on DVd I bought a copy and sornt the evening transfixed.  This journey of self discovery - when a young boy is shipwrecked in a lifrboat with an adult Bengal Tiger - ( who naturally wantt to eat him ) has an amazing theme and weaves an intriguing story that is enthrawling. 
Beautifully filmed and brilliant CG and special effects,  it takes the viewer on a journey of mind, body and soul.

I must admit to getting teary in a copuple of parts and thoroughly enjoyed the film.  I can see whay it was such a big hit.

Here is a challenge to you :  Where does it say in the Bible that two men cannot get married - Or to put it another way - Where in the Bible does it state that marriage is EXCLUSIVELY for men and women - Or to put it another way - Where does it say in the Bible that when two people love each other dearly, and they are the same sex, that the church must denounce their love and cast them into hell - Or to put it another way - Where does it say in the Bible that the Pope is the all seeing eyes and wisdom of God and that what he says is 100% pure and true ?
 

ALCOHOL IS THE BIGGEST KILLER

Alcohol is responsible for nearly 4 percent of deaths worldwide, and according to the World Health Organization, alcohol kills more people than AIDS, tuberculosis or violence. According to the CDC, alcohol abuse kills about 80,000 Americans annually, results in more than 1.2 million emergency room visits and 2.7 million physician office visits are due to excessive drinking. The economic costs of excessive alcohol consumption in 2006 were estimated at $223.5 billion. It’s the third leading cause of preventable death in the United States,  and 72 percent of those who die are men.
Of course, when it says that 80,000 people a year die, this figure is very short of the truth as we all know about drunk drivers who kill people, and how about the familt of the drunk - those in the firing line whose lives are often ruined, business' lost,  lives wrecked,  and the 80,000 figure is just those who die and does not list the lives ruined.

My sister died of too much vidka over a slow and long period and her liver packed up - and she had had a baby in that period who sadly died 18 months later - it also ruined every relationship she ever had, every job and everything she did - eventually - fell to pieces because of her drinking.  It's sad,  and it is an epidemic the government do little about while moaning on and on about drugs, which are SO not as dangerous or as deadly or as ingrained into the psyche of society as socially acceprable.  Every street corner. Every supermarket - SPECIAL OFFERS - HALF PRICE WINE AND BEER - 2-4-1 - and so forth and drinking is openly encouraged with bars and clubs everwhere and still the government do not know what to do to tackle this sad downfall of many.
 

SOUTHERN ELECTRIC 

Oh Dear God.  Give me strength.  

I moved my gas and electric to another company at Christmas and signed all the documentation and sent off the Direct Debit mandate, which the person handling my account claimed not to have received,  so she sent it again,:- I completed and e mailed it all back to her.  ( and this I can proove )

Now - 4 months later I receive a £2,000 gas bill and am expecting something similar for electric, and these should have been paid monthly through Direct Debit ( or at least the majority ) and yet the company has not set up a Direct Debit;-  they have never informed me this has not been done and I am really angry at how they have twice offerd a shoddy service and where I am now faced with crippling bills.

I appreciate the money has not been taken from my account each month and to be honest, I have better things to do that check up on every single Direct Debit that comes in and out of my account, especially when I have so much extra work to do besides checking up on big business.  Seems though, I should have... and any money not claimed by them each month has been spent - as I see money in the account and someone needing a free weekend and so it is spent on them... never on myself... and it really annoys.  After all the hard work. After all the years.  After all th late nights, no sex life and little else but give give give... Southern Electrric can now reduce me to tears.  

What is the fucking point ?
 

Since this, I have informed them that I expect to receive a sizeable discount on my bills which together, gas and electric for a 3 month period is just over £3,100  and I shall ask for 50% discount, which I am doubtful about but I shall MOST CERTAINLY expect something that will make them sting and sting hard. It needs to be a penalty that makes them realise they did wrong and that someone or something needs to change within their organisation and I will not be satisfied with a simple apology or a £20 gift voucher from M&S.

I shall keep you posted.

The company has offered me nothing. Loads of apologies but no compensation for the sleepless nights of worry - not a single dime fore their mikstakes but you and I both know how heavy handed they are if and when we make a kistake and their small print is full of penalties.

I fight on.

AQUAPONICS

a friend is starting to grow his veg using the water from his pond full of fish, to filter through his lettuce etc. and get pumped back into the pond, and the fish poo etc. is good for the plants and the plants grow without soil, and everyone is happy.  It looks amazing and although expensive to set up,  will produce far more than in soil and better quality all round - better taste - better size of crop and lots of pleasure in doing so.

If anyone has any experience in this - please share it with us.
 

GARDEN

The garden is starting to look lovely after a few sunny days where B&Q had a 50% off sale of plants and now the colour and the summer feels like it is just around the corner and I am excited. I love pottering in the garden although don't get much time really,  and it takes an hour to water all the flower pots every evening,  and I get delight out of it by others who enjoy the time out there, and I am really hopeful for a lonmg hot summer...  Fingers crossed.

It is so nice walking to dog and seeing all the new growth in the woods, all the wild flowers and blossom - and it makes me glad to be alive...  still worried about my gas bill,  ha ha ... but good to be alive.

2012 - WHAT'S NEXT ?

Have we entered a new era for humanity ?   After the much talked about date   - that much anticipated date of December 21st 2012, which  has now passed, with millions around the world celebrating in some form or another, this has been the start of a new and potentially quite extraordinary era. 

The most true  prophecy was that after Dec. 21st -  would come Dec. 22nd and that life would go on just as before.  Millions marked the birthing moment with great beauty and unity across every continent and probably every country, each in their own unique way. And year 0001 was born - the New Age - or whatever you wish to call it.

Now, what we all activated in the collective mind of humanity - a vision for a new era, a commitment to global unity, a sense of being one human family - will take some time to grow up. It was just the beginning - as all births are - and it is now up to us to nurture and help grow the consciousness attached to this new age,  this birth - and help it grow.  For this is the time where we have planted the seeds and watered the ground,  and now need to sit back and guide the future generations to have solid and firm roots in honesty - and allow strong and secure branches to grow - and all of this is nurtured by our collective and individual consciousness  and how we continue to transform our own lives forward from this point and be the radiant embodiment of our higher potential.

Some say this is hard to achieve in a world so bogged down in the heavy negative energies that surround us,  and it really is a moment to moment thing.  It is easy to 'loose the plot' when you hear about what is going on in the world but it is also a reflection on what we see is what we are looking at.  If you wish to see doom and gloom then you will see doom and gloom.  If you wish to see beauty and light,  then this is just as available and just as easy and just as clear to our inner eye as well as our physical existence.  It is all a choice.  You see what you choose to see.

So make some changes in your life of those things that do not serve you.  Concentrate on the positive.  Be of the light and as your world changes, so will the world around you.  It only takes one person to change the entire planet and that person - is you.
