Hamilton hall has its own car park and if this is full, free parking is available on the road outside - and is safe.
I stayed in various places in Brighton and Blackpool and had to run out every 2 - 4 hours and re load the parking meter or I would get a parking ticket. In Brighton, we drove round and round trying to find somewhere to park and ended up over 2 blocks away from the hotel we were staying at and this was a worry. In Blackpool it was the same and I was visiting out of season to both these towns and not when the tourist industry is in full swing, but in the winter months when it should have been easier.
It was - actually - a nightmare.
It is the same in the Triangle area of Bournemouth where many of the hotels are, and where the gay area with its clubs and bars are located. There is one large municipal car park in the Triangle which is costly - otherwise you take pot luck finding somewhere to park on the roads and it can be a headache.
I shall repeat -
Hamilton Hall has its own car park and if this is full,
free parking is available on the road outside - and is safe.
