Our charges have not kept up with inflation and have massively been reduced and held back for many years to enable people to attend weekend workshops and who otherwise could not afford it. Now is the time for this to be eased, as we struggle financially - and we struggle badly sometimes and your host donates hundreds of hours work a week for no wage and then has sleepless nights worrying about making ends meet during this dreadful credit crunch. Our charges have been slightly oincreased on some events and then discounts offered to encourage you to book early, but please do not complain there is nothing to do, when we try and bring an assortment of events throughout the years and many are cancelled because of lack of use. Hamilton Hall only stays open by those who attend and pay money in order to help keep us open. Please accept that you are part of the cause of many venues disappearing from our high street and why many gay venues have also vanished - never to re open. Nothing in life is free. Just a quick line to say thanks for another good weekend workshop. The ‘Sensual pleasures’ taster weekend gave me the chance to brush up on my massage ‘skills’ and I got to experience vacuum pumping, heck my d@@k is still recovering.
I got to meet half a dozen other like-minded guys and like to think that we all had a good time. I think we all threw ourselves into the course, that’s why it felt so rewarding. It was also nice to be able to be myself for a change because I don’t get many opportunities to do that at home. The range of guys there was refreshing, it’s nice to see that all ‘shapes and sizes’ came.
That’s one excellent two fingered salute to the Body Fascists!!!
The food was first class (as always) and the rapport between yourself and your colleagues was top notch as always. As always your repertoire was sharp as ever and you all kept us engaged at breakfast, lunch and supper times.
I’ll sign off now before I get too sycophantic. Just for the record I’m in Bristol for a music concert in October and have to book into a travel lodge there’s one nearby, but by god there will not be the same atmosphere there – heck there won’t be no atmosphere there.

I thought I'd drop you a line regarding my recent visit for the Sensuous Pleasures sampler weekend.
It was a very enjoyable and interesting weekend. I really liked the calm atmosphere of the hotel, all the facilities were excellent and the rooms were very comfortable. I thought the idea of communal meals worked so well and it was so nice to get some real conversation whilst eating. The range of subjects was so varied too !! The food was excellent.
In all honesty I can't think of anything which wasn't right or didn't work for me so thats quite an impressive achievement.
I found that I really enjoyed the meditation training and I have already started the process of continuing and developing it. It seemed to work really well for me and I think will be valuable. The free CD I thought was a great touch and very practical.
I did have one suggestion which is slightly tongue-in-cheek regarding the guests getting to know each other. Most of us coped fairly well at remembering names but there were a couple of guys who found it more difficult. I thought that you could get some sheets of those rub-on tattoos of the more common names, the tattoo could be applied to a suitable location, perhaps be applied to one buttock cheek in lieu of name badges ??
So thanks to you and Nick and Matt for making it happen - a good team.
