 DIRECTIONS  FROM  LONDON

CAR: Driving time from West London: Between 1½ - 2 hours. Practically the entire journey is either dual carriageway or motorway and is a very easy and uncomplicated drive.
M3 (found at Hammersmith) – 40 minutes drive to the  M27 sign-posted Southampton – Winchester – Bournemouth. After about 30 minutes the  M27 turns into the A31 and as you pass RINGWOOD bare left onto the A338 – well sign-posted to Bournemouth.     8 - 10miles further on;- Eventually the signs will reduce your speed to 50mph and welcome you to Bournemouth
with big signs indicating that there are speed cameras ahead ( some welcome - huh ???) and at that point  you will go OVER A FLY-OVER;- then you go UNDER A FLY-OVER until you reach a large  ROUNDABOUT with a huge ASDA on the left corner. Turn left there as you go around the roundabout,  and go along St. Paul’s Road keeping Asda and the stations on your left until you come to  another roundabout, which is only about a 1 minute drive between roundabouts.  Straight across onto St. Swithen’s Road to a further roundabout, also only a 1 minute drive. TURN LEFT onto
CHRISTCHURCH ROAD.
The 6th  left hand turning in Hamilton Road.  Turn into Hamilton Road and the first turning on the right - just a couple of hundred yards up, is Hamilton Hall on the corner of Carysfort Road.

From the Asda Roundabout, – it is a 4 minute drive

From Devon or Cornwall along the south coast

Take the A35 all the way until you go past Poole. Keep going until you hit the LIVERPOOL AND VICTORIA ROUNDABOUT (sometimes called the FRIZZELL ROUNDABOUT - just to totally confuse.).. at Westbourne and then bare left onto the A338 called The Wessex Way.

At the second large ROUNDABOUT – drive about ¾ of the way around the roundabout and there is a huge ASDA on the corner and the train station along there. Turn along there and go along St. Paul’s Road keeping Asda and the stations on your left until you come to another roundabout, which is only about a 1 minute drive between roundabouts.

Straight across onto St. Swithen’s Road to a further roundabout. TURN LEFT onto Christchurch Road. The 6th left hand turning is HAMILTON ROAD and Hamilton Hall is on the left hand corner of Carysfort Road a couple of hundred yards up on the right.

From the Asda Roundabout, – it is a 4 minute drive.

FROM CENTRAL BOURNEMOUTH

If you are in central Bournemouth, drive past the BOURNEMOUTH PIER
with the pier on your right.

Pass the Royal Bath Hotel on your right and turn right just after it, up a steepish hill. This brings you onto the cliff top. Keep going all the way along the cliff top as far as you can – just follow the road and it will eventually bare left and end at a T junction. Turn right and this will take you to a set of traffic lights. Turn right again. About ¼ of a mile further on, at the top of the hill, Hamilton Road is on the left. Turn into Hamilton Road, drive up - and the 1st right hand turning – which is just a couple of hundred yards along Hamilton Road, is Carysfort Road and HAMILTON HALL is on the corner.

From Bournemouth Pier it should only be a  10 - 15 minute drive.

This is a pretty route where you can view the ocean and on a clear day, the Isle of White, and usually avoids the traffic
.

Glastonbury / Bristol / Bath

From Glastonbury take the A361 towards Sheptom Mallet and change onto the A371 towards Castle
Carey – Wincanton and eventually Stalbridge.

Change onto the A357 towards Blandford Forum.

Change onto the A350 until you approach Poole where you take the A35 all the way until you go past Poole.

Keep going until you hit a huge ROUNDABOUT at Westbourne ( it has the LIVERPOOL & VICTORIA Insurance company building on it and is well signed..) and then bare left onto the A338 called The Wessex Way.

Go straight along there and at the second large ROUNDABOUT, go around the roundabout about ¾ of the way and there is a huge ASDA on the corner, turn along there and go along St. Paul’s Road keeping Asda and the stations on your left until you come to another roundabout, which is only about a 1 minute drive between roundabouts.

Straight across onto St. Swithen’s Road to a further roundabout, also only a 1 minute drive.

TURN LEFT onto CHRISTCHURCH ROAD.

The 6th left hand turning is HAMILTON ROAD. Turn into Hamilton Road, drive up - and the 1st right hand turning – which is just a couple of hundred yards along Hamilton Road, is Carysfort Road and HAMILTON HALL is on the corner.

WHATEVER YOU DO
DRIVE SENSIBLY
DRIVE SAFELY
AND THINK OF OTHERS WHO ALSO USE THE ROAD

turn your volume down, keep calm, play some games if you get bored, open the window and get some fresh air, stop for coffee breaks every hour, chew gum, pay attention to the road ahead,  don't put one finger up at other drivers,  signal when overtaking or turning - be nice - and most importantly

DO NOT USE YOUR PHONE WHILE DRIVING

and get here - it's better to be late than arrive on time, but stressed and angry.

we will hang up on you if we think
you are phoning while driving

Maybe - just maybe

maybe we will find someone like this above to wash
your car for you while you are here -
- or maybe -
we wont
