We now offer a lovely evening meal menu so you can dine
here if you wish and join our other guests at one large
dining table - and this is more like having a private dinner
party with friends rather than dinner in an hotel.
Almost the entire
venue has
been
completely redecorated and furnished this past year - now offering a stunning contemporary style with plenty of traditional comforts for your enjoyment -
and a new extended garden area for your relaxation.

90 day money
back guarantee
We believe so
strongly in our venue that if you can find another
exclusively gay men's hotel here in the UK that has
bedrooms as spacious and luxurious as ours, with better
indoor space to chill and relax in, and is
comparatively priced to us while offering superior value for
money, is fully insured and up-to-date with all the
relevant and current - legal & up to date fire
precautions, health and safety, electrical wiring tests
, business insurance etc.
and includes all the little extras we provide so freely, within
90 days of staying with us, then
we will investigate your claim and will use an independent
person to verify, and if proven correct, we will refund your stay at Hamilton Hall TWICE OVER as we are
THAT confident in our venue with its unique and friendly
atmosphere, that we are confident enough to make this offer.*
We encourage
you to PLEASE check out as many web sites on gay and
straight hotels offering you B&B as you can find, anywhere
in the country, and there are thousands available on
hundreds of web sites, - just as we have done -
( and we had one hell
of a laugh doing so)
and then return to our site, to our rooms and to our venue
and we TRULY believe, we really are one of the best in the
UK for the price, for the style, for the atmosphere and
for the service offered.
GUARANTEED.

Hi John,
Thank you so much for your hospitality
yesterday. I have never stayed in such a
delightful place. Everything is so
tasteful at Hamilton Hall and there is
this lovely feeling of homely peace.
Well, actually the kind of peace one
doesn't usually get at home!
As a bi-curious male, I felt so at
ease and it was rather lovely.
I had such a lovely time and it is hard
to remember that I stayed in a B & B
instead of with really good friends. We
clearly have a lot in common, especially
our spiritual stuff and our views about
organised religion etc. I can't wait to
come again.
Blessed be!

'a
little about us'
Open all year
for B&B - Hamilton Hall
is a charming free standing Victorian house - in a peaceful location away from the
noisy bars and main roads - and run as a retreat style private hotel located just a 5
minute drive or a 20 minute walk from Bournemouth's vibrant town
centre with its many restaurants, bars, theatres, shops and clubs;-
as well as The Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) and 'The
Triangle' - a boisterous and noisy area where the various gay bars, sauna and night clubs are
located, whichis a fun area to visit - and nice to escape from to the
quiet of Hamilton Hall.

We have our
own car park and
private small garden with several different
areas in which to relax and enjoy on those
warmer days and nights. Inside we have a wonderful chill out Lounge, TV
Room, Conservatory, Community Room and Dining Room for your
relaxation and peace and quiet at any time of the day and night.
You are not crammed in here - our bedrooms are spacious and we have plenty of space to find
solitude if you wish to be alone - or friendship with the other guests
and your host.
Unlike some
establishments where all you have is your room and there simply
is nowhere else to go - Hamilton Hall offers more space and more
opportunity to be comfortable in our 'home from home' environment.

We are a 5 minute
stroll into the esoteric shops and market area of Boscombe and the
local beach.
We pride
ourselves in offering a venue that people return to and where a
friendly welcome awaits.

Bring
your friends in for free
coffee and refreshments. You can smoke in the garden and
we do not
legislate what you bring with you that helps you to relax, chill out and enjoy
your time with us... worry beads, teddy bears, herbal remedies, knitting or even your fluffy
bunny slippers...
There is no permanently manned reception so we rely on you
keeping us informed as to your time - approx - of arrival - as we might be
busy elsewhere. After that, you have your own key and can come and go as you
please.

Check In is between 11am - 1pm and 6 - 8pm
and you can arrange for an
earlier / later Check In with a simple phone call or e mail, and if
very early, you can check your bags and go to the beach and we will look after your things while your room is prepared.
Check Out is by 11am
and even after check out, should you wish to
spend the day on the beach, or just hanging out at Hamilton Hall, we will
watch your bags and you are welcome to shower, and have free refreshments and
even take a carton of juice or some fruit for your journey home in the evening.
No problem.
|
We do not have TV's and kettles in our
bedrooms DELIBERATELY as this isolates people and we have a
complete and huge range of FREE hot and cold refreshments
available 24/7 downstairs and a delightful cozy and intimate TV room
overlooking the small garden.
Some room sharing may be
offered when we are busy, retreat style. You can either
accept or not, the choice is yours. Private rooms are also
available. You see, we are not like any other hotel you
have stayed at before and we may work somewhat differently than
others.
WORKSHOPS: Hamilton Hall is the only residential
retreat style hotel in all of Europe that is exclusively for gay
and bisexual men, offering our own 'in house' workshop weekends
for your enlightenment, laugher, shock and awe - ranging from
our 'GayTantra Man2Man' tuition and
'Sensuous Body Massage Tuition '- which are taught
by the UK's most experienced and learned facilitator - 'Breathwork
to Inner Health and Happiness' - 'Singles and Over 50' weekends'
- 'Reiki' - and many other event. Our
Christmas and New Year periods are always fully booked and we
enjoy a variety of functions to bring people together with a
common interest. As we always say - 'Only
the bored get bored' and with our Diary of
Events full of assorted things to keep you entertained,
there is no excuse for being bored.

Even if it rains, there is always
something to do here. If you wish to be miserable, then
that is your choice, or you can enjoy yourself regardless and so
what if you get wet - we have brollies and drying facilities for
your clothes. The countryside, the Jurassic Coast,
and all the beauty surrounding us, takes on a different kind of
loveliness in the rain. The shops, aquarium, harbour
fronts and ancient church's are all still open and available and
after all, this is the UK and we get rain here. If you
choose to be miserable, then that is your choice - we however
choose to see things differently and celebrate the rain and
enjoy ourselves regardless. When I walk my dog, I have to
do so even if it is raining - and I get my wellies on,
heavy coat and scarf, hat and gloves, and off we go and although
it may be chucking it down, I love these walks.
It can be really meditative.
You can stay within
Hamilton Hall, watch a movie, giggle with the other guests,
have a bite to eat and go back to bed and snuggle under the
quilt listening to the rain outside, chat to me as I prepare
dinner, read a book, catch up on your laptop and
actually enjoy being indoors - in the dry - in a safe and cozy
environment with friends. And so what if it is raining, it
waters the garden.

If you are searching for a gay men's hotel, be aware that some venues
claim to be 'gay owned and run' or even 'the friendliest gay
hotel in town' - but are not exclusively gay, - they are gay friendly,
- where women, children and stag nights are welcome, and this is
grossly misleading.

We are a gay and bisexual mens space - where you can enjoy time away from the everyday pressures
with no hassles. We offer a relaxed and stress free
environment with no attitude. We pride ourselves on the amount of customers who return
often.
To learn how we can
be a 'men only space' with the new 'Sex Equality Law' - please

Owned and
operated by an individual and not a multi
national, or an organization or even a
couple.
Just
one man had the foresight and the
imagination to see what was required, and
he had the guts to be innovative and invest his
life's work and finances into creating this
delightful retreat style hotel exclusively for
gay and bisexual men. Come and meet John Bellamy
who is no 'shrinking violet', as John loves
talking with his guests, sharing stories that
will enlighten, shock and amuse and most of all,
he enjoys a good laugh. With lively and
fun staff, it's never dull at Hamilton Hall as
there seems to often be something to
amuse and thrill. Come and share
your stories and enjoy the company of people who
care. |

Bright and airy during the day, warm and intimate in the
evening with subdued lighting, loads of cushions and it has that personal
touch, often - usually - lacking in hotels.

South facing
and bright and sunny, this is a wonderful place to relax with a cuppa and watch
the world go by. Hamilton Hall is on a side street surrounded with other large
Victorian houses, now almost all converted to flats and is a 5 minute stroll to
the beach and the esoteric market and shops of Boscombe. Bournemouth
centre is a 5 -10 minute drive away.

As you can guess, I love the garden and although I would love an acre - I
love the small garden that we have and on those hot sunny days of summer
sunbathing naked, and those long sultry evenings when we can sit out under the
stars and listen to the sea gulls singing together ( or is it screaming at each
other ) it is lovely to chat with strangers who soon become friends and we have
had many relationships and many good and dear friendships born here.

All pictures of the garden were
taken
9th June and 1st July 2008
We have added a whole new area to our garden this year (
2009 )and have created a wonderful new space to relax and chill out in.
Kristian has worked so hard on the decking, fencing, lighting
etc. Thanks to Khristian.
Pictures to come soon.

WiFi available even out in the garden

A few words from your host.

'I have
personally stayed at many gay hotels and also many of the huge
multi nationals and I have figured out what I have enjoyed and what I
thought was lacking and I have brought all of the positives together, as
well as I can, here at Hamilton Hall for your enjoyment.
We go that
little bit further, and offer engaging and pleasant staff, comfortable
and informal surroundings,- lovely contemporary decor with a
traditional touch of coziness and that personal touch in good sized
bedrooms which are light and airy, spacious and not cramped,- and a pleasant casual atmosphere to help you feel relaxed and
at home.
Bring your
friends in for free refreshments, chill out alone with a good book
or laugh your tits off with the other guests, as many do. Find your
solitude or company, the choice is yours as we have plenty of places to
do that besides hiding in your room.
The Lounge
is warm and inviting. The TV / Garden Room is cozy and intimate and the
garden is wonderful on those hot sultry days and evenings. The
Conservatory is warm even on winters days and if you want to practice
yoga - our Community Room is perfect.
You have
many choices at Hamilton Hall, one being what NOT to wear today, as if
you wish, you can be naked throughout the venue at any time and have no
worry about what others think.
There really is nowhere within the
whole of Europe that offers the facilities, the comfort and the
friendliness that is found at Hamilton Hall and we really are
leading the way. We are the only such retreat anywhere that we can
find, that is exclusively for gay and bisexual men.
I am
thrilled at what we have achieved here and I hope you will love it .
With honesty,
friendship and nothing to hide, we welcome you in peace and harmony, in
the hope that many others within the gay community will cut the crap, stop
the bullshit and value each other as individuals.
For we all wish for exactly the same things in life... a home, food and water,
to love and to be loved, to feel secure and safe, to be employed and respected,
to offer and to receive the best that each of us can offer and to value and honour our fellow men and women as equals and as we would each like
to be treated in return. The gay community has a lot to learn still and we aim
to be a little nicer, a little kinder and a little more thoughtful. We may make
mistakes, we may screw up sometimes and we may get it wrong, but then, we
are only human and mistakes happen and no one regrets it more than us.
In our own little way - and as the only venue of its kind for gay and bisexual
men anywhere in Europe, we are trying to put some soul into the gay community,
and let's face it guys, it needs it.'
Always with love - John Bellamy
I look
forward to welcoming you with a smile and with friendship.
John
Bellamy

Here I am at the Barbra Streisand

worth every single penny...and big thank you to Richard who took me...
