Brexit V Covid 19

Brexit split the country. Like a Civil war, family members were arguing with family members. People all had an opinion and argued it vehemently.

We had been misled and lied to by corrupt politicians with hidden agendas. It was one of the most divisive things to hit the UK in my lifetime, where it divided the country and was what everyone was talking / arguing about.

Covid 19 changed all that.

Suddenly you never heard a word about Brexit and as the months passed, many allowed it to slip into their distant memory banks.

Under quarantine / lockdown the country was so very silent.

We listened to the appalling waffle of Boris Johnson on the TV dictating the guidelines for staying healthy - and where he waffled and tripped up on his words and should - absolutely - NEVER EVER be allowed to give important speaches ever again. Absolutely appalling at public speaking and should never be allowed to - ever again.

Since lockdown has beene eased, the problem now is whether a second wave of close downs will be implimented and the cause for this - the reason a second wave might be instigated...

BECAUSE PEOPLE CANNOT STOP - THEY WANT TO GET BACK

TO NORMAL AS FAST AS POSSIBLE AND THIS MEANS PUTTING OTHERS AT RISK AND SO THE INFECTION RATES RISE

AND PEOPLE ARE TO BLAME.

We were worried that Brexit, with or without a plan with Europe - could spell financial ruin for the UK as business close, people become unemployed and the cash flow into and out of the UK is halted.

Covid 19 did all that for us.

Cash flow halted and the government has paid out hundreds of billions to small business and paying peoples wages through furloe and it has split the country. Those who argue the government is all wrong ( and how they know this is another guess as nothing like this has ever happened before so even the government are winging it ... )

Many business will close and many have taken the cash hand out from the gopvernment - meant to help keep them open and employing staff, and then they have closed for good - so taken the money are ran... and this can be seen all over the country with thousands of venues not re opening. Just here in Bournemouth our two last remaining gay bars, neither have re opened yet and rhumour is that one will not while the other will re open next month - and the gay community will be down to Hamilton Hall and a small sauna and one bar.

Unless people start to behave and adhere to what the government is suggesting and even making law, this virus will run out of control and will mean another complete lockdown.
