Londoners mock tourist demanding a place to stay, a chauffeur and home cooked meal for £50 a week

John Bellamy Comments on the e mails below: You know me by now. You know I share with you through this BLOG about those customers from hell and the enquiries that make demands that go WAY beyond reasonable and how the people involved are SHOOCKED when I say no and tell them some inner truths, as if I don't, who will. Entitled people get away with it because few stand up to them and tell them some home truths about their expectations, and then they lave shitty reviews about me on Trip Advisor that really shows them up to be awful people and we are best without them. You know there is always one who ruins the party, gets too drunk, too loud, wants more and more and generally DEMANDS ATTENTION, and we all LOATH those people who quite often, ruin it for others.

I found this on the internet this week and it goes a long way top confirm I AM NOT ALONE....

Londoners are in stitches at a tourist looking for a place to stay. The catch is they're only prepared to pay £50 a week and they're looking for ultimate luxury.

Posting a screenshot of the demand to Reddit, the person who found the gem wrote: "There's your regular clueless London tourist, and then there's this..." The tourist's request is titled "be in London soon" and lists their various demands.

"I posted a few days ago inquiring about someone hosting me for the week. I'm leaving tomorrow for London and I NEED someone to offer me a spare room in their home ASAP. Home cooked breakfast and dinner included and you MUST have a car and be able to drive me around the city. I'm able to pay 50 pounds for the week. Please message me with details."

The request wasn't kindly met by Londoners as one joked:

"Hey I’d be happy to help. I have a spacious flat in zone one with lovely views and a sunny balcony. I’m also happy to drive you around - you have a choice of two different sports cars. Sadly I’m not much of a cook but I have a Deliveroo premium subscription.

The tourist wanted someone to chauffeur them around London "£50 an hour sounds fair (I think there’s a typo in your ad), so that will be £8,400 for the week. Half payable in advance (non refundable), and the other half on arrival. "With current fuel prices I am going to have to charge petrol on top of this. This depends on how far you want to go, but you should assume £1.87 a litre and about ten miles per imperial gallon."

Another person wrote

"Add an extra two zeros and I'll think about it."

A third said

"For £50 I can get you a budget tent, point you to a secluded corner under a bridge in an industrial area to set it up in, get you a week's worth of Tesco meal deals to stop you from completely starving and point you to the Boris bikes so you can get around."

"They want a bed, in someone’s house, in the centre of a ridiculously expensive city with catering and a personal chauffeur? FOR FIFTY QUID A WEEK. This s*** should cost £500 a day," another Londoner fumed.

It goes way beyond pathetic -it is actually totally delusional.
