melts the heart
One dog was brought into the centre after being found shot, painted and dragged behind a vehicle and then abandoned. She was traumatized to say the least and how any human being can treat any animal like this is beyond me.
While in the centre another of our traumatized dogs of ill treatment went over and showed great affection and care to the other and never left her side throughout the next few weeks of recovery.
So often, animals can show us humans how we should be behaving and not how some do.
It melts your heart.
This one below will make you realize there are some dumb MF on the planet and just in case you are a dumb MF - If the man is a Native Navajo Indian, then he is indigenous to the USA - a Native American and anyone else - EVERYONE ELSE - is an immigrant. I tell you, there really are some people out there that are dumber than a bucket of rocks.
Taken from the internet - so not me folks. Just a tender story below. "Yesterday I adopted the oldest, sickest, and sorest
shelter dog. I'll never forget his eyes. When I went into the cage he didn't even bother to look, he knew I wouldn't even see him.
Curling around the corner He'd accepted his fate. The volunteer said to me many times... Are you sure this one? Are you sure? YES! This is my dog. He opened the cage and 3 animals fell on me. I ran towards him, suddenly he looked at me as if he saw an angel... I hugged him and told him that now he'll be happy again. Then he sleeps in my lap... probably the first peaceful sleep for a while. Give it a life. Give it a hug. They need us." From a dad who saved a soul.
A little boy came home from the playground with a bloody nose, black eye, and torn clothing.
It was obvious he'd been in a bad fight and lost. While his father was patching him up, he asked his son what happened. "Well, Dad," said the boy, "I challenged Larry to a duel. And, you know, I gave him his choice of weapons." "Uh-huh," said the father, "that seems fair." "I know, but I never thought he'd choose his big sister.
