John: I stayed with you a few years ago now. I think it was just after lockdown so probably 2021. I recently found your youtube chanel and it brought it all back to me.

I have a few confessions to make.

I have copied your down stairs look wallpaper - the book shelves , in your downstairs toilet and everyone talks about it and I have to admit to getting the idea from you.

I also had decking and after we spoke about your hassles with decking and how slabs are better, I replaced my decked area with slabs and I am so glad I did.

Magnolia. I know you hate even the word - magnolia. A paint colour that is largely used by people with absolutely no imagination at all, well that was me. My whole house was magnolia inside and you should see it now. I watched your Youtube video of our rooms and took some inspiration and now;- well you wouldn't believe my house these days, as bold rich and deep colours on feature walls or bold wallpaper on one wall, and what a difference it makes. All my family are like 'WOW - what happened , did you get an interior designer in ?' and I have to confess you were the one that gave me the ideas and the inspiration.

If you ever come to the north, do come and check it all out as you will probably feel right at home.

I have lived State side for over 40 years and while I would willingly come home to good old Limey Land, it is so complicated as the US has me by the short and curlies tax wise,. and I cannot afford to leave.

I so hate Trump and what he is doing to this once great nation but everywhere I go, I have to keep my gob shut as there are so many MAGA idiots in their stupid little red hats SCREAMING abuse at people with kids, at OAP's at Hispanics and African Americans and I even overheard one screaming to a Native American Indian to ' GO HOME TO YOUR OWN COUNTRY' - and I was so thrilled when the guy shouted back

' I am in my country, I am indiginous to this land, YOU ARE THE INTERLOPER, NOW GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY COUNTRY.'

But the idiot MAGA MAN didn't understand a single word while their behaviour copies the outlandish manner of Trump, and as far as I am concerned, anyone who calls the troops ' LOSERS' - is a cunt John. Sorry to use that word. but that is the only one other than making it a ' FUCKING CUNT.'

I wish I was there with you again and I cannot believe it must be nearly 20 years since I stayed with you and God Bless you John.
