Trump has alienated the USA globally - SCROLL DOWN
Here is the official Chinese response to the Trump Tariffs. I have noticed that the official response is really not being presented in Western (read: American) news.
So it is presented here.
Regarding the Tariffs
What China said from day one is:

The tariff war and trade war were unilaterally initiated by the U.S. If the U.S. wants to talk, it should demonstrate sincerity and be prepared to correct its wrong practices, such as canceling unilateral tariffs, and take action accordingly. Once again Trump is proving that he has no idea what he is talking about.
Trump has destroyed the faith and credit if the United States and the dollar with it. Trump has triggered massive inflation with his tariffs. Countries have divested themselves of US Treasury Bonds because of Trump's policies and actions.
Trump has absolutely no control whatsoever in what international currency countries choose to trade in. He can bluff and bluster and make demands all that he wants. But other countries no longer trust the dollar, thanks entirely to Trump.
Trump has no way of fixing this because whenever the billionaire Plutocracy steps in to tell him to back down he just makes things more confusing with his temporary suspensions combined with renewed threats.
The dollar is being replaced and Trump does not have the capability or credibility to change it. Even if Trump promised to change, he has proven that he cannot be trusted to do so.
The dollar will not recover until after Trump is gone. It will take many years after Trump to recover.
After all the American voters have proven that they cannot be trusted to not elect a delusional criminal fraudster.

The problem with Trump 2.0 is it has shown some issues with the American system:
A person with charisma, willing to lie their way to the top, is perfectly OK to do so.
A President who dislikes something is perfectly OK changing it without any other controls.
Contracts and agreements mean absolutely nothing.
Long term friendships can be thrown out at a moment’s notice.
Truth means only what those with power say it means.
Laws can ignored when judges have no power to enforce them.
Power is everything. If you need to be threatened and bullied to get what we want, that’s going to happen.
While Trump proved all that, there’s no reason to believe a different person or party could not do similar.
You would be crazy to enter an agreement with a company that behaved in such a way.
The rest of the world will breathe a sigh of relief when he is gone, but everybody will remember the faults in the system that he exposed and exploited.

The “average” American doesn’t even acknowledge there’s a world outside our borders. The “average” American has never set foot in a foreign country much less know where they are on the map. And if they have visited a foreign country it was to Canada or Mexico.
So the “average” American doesn’t care because according to them Trump holds all the cards and the world needs us more than we need them. Except that might have true fifty years ago but no longer. We can’t do it alone.
90% of our potash which is used in fertilizer comes from Canada. Without it we can’t grow crops or not as many. Most of our stuff that we get in places like Walmart are made overseas. Our electronics are all made in China. Our cars are made in Mexico and Canada. We import a lot of stuff from other countries. Just recently the Chinese stopped buying US cattle and have moved to Australia and Brazil to get their beef and they were one of our biggest clients.
Trump is ruining our country and it’s only the brain dead MAGAs that are the living embodiment of this meme:
“Is there any coming back from that for the USA?”
What did you mean by your statement? That Canadians will not visit your states voluntarily but are voluntarily staying away? That they won't buy your products? That other nations are following Canada's example?
That every American is guilty of electing Donald Trump to be the President of the United States of America by association? An American is a citizen of the United States of America, therefore all Amcitizen citizens are associated with Trump whether they wanted him or not. They are responsible for his “Canada should be the 51st state” jape, which he repeated recently to the UN offical. Some people on Quora have asked the question, “Why aren't Canadians American?” so unless they have been in a coma during their geography and history lessons, their schools have been deliberately guilty of neglect.
Naturally we Canadians have been insulted by Trump over and over. Naturally we are enraged. Greenland wants nothing to do with annexation. Neither will the Republic of Panama sell the Canal on its property.
What's “coming back” at the USA is the rage of countries who will not be bullied by the conman in the Oval Office. Canadians were your friends until Trump, with your naive remarks about Canada being an American “state” behind him, have made us defend ourselves against you.
What's “coming back” at the USA is the enraged people of NATO nations, who were killed in the US wars with Afghanistan and Iraq.
What is “coming back” at the USA is at best a wave of disgust at your President and all his enablers, and a wave of wariness at any move they make for a long, long time.
And if “the average American” is not concerned about his and her future during the next three years, then seriously, God pity you.
Unlike the USA, the rest of the world DOES pay attention to what is going on around the world and outside of its own borders and the rest of the world is not as blind or as dumb / stupid as the average American when it comes to global affairs. Consequently we all know what each other is going through and how each country is reacting to Trump and we all know NO ONE is rushing to make those phone calls and NO ONE is rushing to make a deal with the USA and NO ONE is calling to apologise for past abuse aimed at America and if the truth be known, IT IS AMERICA WHO OWES THE WORLD AN APOLOGY , not just Trump, but so much more besides. America has never been the great country it claims to be and has - for a very long time when it comes to world affairs, been the bully and only doing something if it benefits the USA and ' fuck' em' if it does not serve them. Well now, because of Trump, the world is pulling away from America as they are sick of the bully and the USA may never recover and MOST CERTAINLY will soon NOT be the main power house of the planet and will soon not even be a close second or third behind China, India, Germany, Japan or even the EU, and as for respect - there is none any more. America is laughed at globally and that - my friends, is how it is. We feel pity for what was once but will NEVER - EVER - BE AGAIN.
