Do Americans fear Donald Trump becoming a dictator?

Not anymore. Trump is too dumb. Trump’s tariff imposition was one of the dumbest decisions ever made by a U.S. president. His popularity dropped, along with the stock market. Trump is too dumb to be a dictator. His Secretary of Defense is proving incompetent. Noem did not know what habeas corpus was. Elon Musk had to depart DOGE because his Tesla business lost value rapidly. Now, Musk is criticizing Trump’s spending bill and those two have become enemies. The bro

mance is over.

Soon, the U.S. Supreme Court will likely strike down his autocratic and sometimes illegal executive orders, just as U.S. District Courts have already ruled against him and his administration in more cases than all but a few can track. Republicans might lose the House in the mid-term elections. Trump is doing a terrible job ending the war in Ukraine and Russia, contrary to his boasting during the campaign. Dictators need to be cunning and observant.

Trump is bringing foreign leaders into the White House to berate them with false information. He has made enemies out of our friends. He is an idiot, just like his 1st administration's top cabinet members said he was.

Dictators do not exist under the U.S. Constitution, and those who attempt to establish one are doomed to failure in the end. To fear Trump as a dictator is to credit him with being able to overpower the U.S. Constitution. Between the two, I am betting on the Constitution.

The concept of making Canada the 51st U.S. state.

Publicly stating at the White House that Trump trusts Putin.

While his Administration is making many mistakes, talk of a third term as president.

Alienating NATO allies while voting with Russia and North Korea at the UN.

Announcing huge tariffs, thinking they will make the USA rich when they will not, and then starting trade wars with our trading partners.

Firing federal employees with good performance ratings for “poor performance.”

Stooping to endorse a specific car brand, Tesla, which was not fair to Ford, GM, Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai, Honda, or other car manufacturers.

Nominating Gaetz for U.S. Attorney General.

Allowing Musk and DOGE to make so many embarrassing mistakes based on their ignorance of government contracts, the status of those contracts, how the federal government works, and what the computer records actually mean.

Allowing Musk, after he had given Nazi salutes to a far-right group in Germany, to return to the U.S. and give a talk in the Oval Office (in a South African-British accent) about democracy, equating that with the “will of the president,” all while standing over Trump in a T-shirt with one of his 14 children in tow.

Trump saying “raw earth” multiple times in one talk instead of rare earth.

Hiring an anti-vaccination IV drug addict, who had active addiction to opioids for 14 years and a worm eating part of his brain, with no scientific or medical training, to be the head of Health & Human Services and, during a rare measles outbreak, JFK, Jr. saying measles outbreaks were common occurrences. The measles outbreak was caused by people not getting the measles vaccination.

Discussing classified information about an upcoming military strike illegally in an unapproved, insecure chat room subject to foreign surveillance, with the Editor-in-Chief of The Atlantic, with no security clearance, invited into the discussion by accident.

Firing National Security Council professionals on the advice of Laura Loomer, conspiracy theorist, regarding their loyalty.

Using trade deficit figures rather than actual foreign tariff rates to set American “reciprocal” tariffs with a flawed mathematical formula.

Trump stating Ukraine started the war with Russia.

Trump posting an image of himself as the Pope was idiotic as to the disparity between his low morality and that of the modern Holy Father. The result was sacreligious or blasphemous.

Trump watched a movie about Alcatraz, Escape from Alcatraz, and then wanted to rehab it, even though it is rusty and run down and would cost a fortune to make usable again. Monkey see, monkey do.

Trump contemplating suspending the writ of habeas corpus and saying he is not sure if he will defend and uphold the U.S. Constitution.

Trump telling Walmart to EAT THE TARIFFS instead of raising prices. This from someone who purports to be a smart businessperson.

Elon Musk’s recent statements and actions are pitiful. The New York Times is reporting Musk was on drugs when campaigning for Trump. He has left the Trump Administration with a black eye from his child.

Oh and let's not forget Greenand and how he wants to buy or invade Greenland - against what the people of Greenland want.

Just imagne the damage this man will / could do in the next 4 years. He's barely started and has already destroyed the USA's reputation aborad - in business, in deals, in trust - and is trying to drag other countries down with it while claiming to Make America Great Again - but great at what - being the bully - being the most hated country - being the most incompetant President - ever - What - exactkly - is he planning to make America Great Again when farmers, Boeing, Ford, BIG CORPORATIONS - Wallmart - are all loosing out and people are ordering from Europe and now America, China and India are benefitting and America is loosing out - BIG TIME.

And the good people of America voted this appalling excuse for a human being to be their President. He then destroys the USA - globally - while raking in the money for himself and other billionairs. Tourism into the USA is down DRASTICALLY and some report it is down between 60 - 80% - with air lines, hotels, car hire, airports, restaurants, tourist attractions like Disney World having to redeuce their staffing levels and opening hurs to cope with DRAMATICALLY less customers as people avoid the USA and go elsewere.

The overwhelming majority of us Americans are taught that the US military could invade and annex Canada, occupying Toronto, Montréal and Ottawa within 24 hours. Why are Canadians so sure they can halt a US military invasion and annexation of Canada?

The overwhelming majority of Americans are also taught you have the worlds best healthcare system, not true.

You are the most free country in the world, not true. .

You won WW2 all on your own, not true.

You won WW1 not even close to being true.

You developed nuclear weapons on your own, not true.

You have the best education system and levels of achievement in the world, again not close to being true.

The war of independence was over tax and representation rather than being allowed to exploit native Americans and steal their land to the West.

You are also taught that you won the war of 1812 . Not true.

You invaded Canada and got your arses kicked that's why you are still talking about invading Canada!

You were taught Russia would roll over Western Europe in weeks without US forces yet Russia has been unable to even capture Kieve (only a couple of hundred miles over the Russia border and no US troops or even NATO forces are even fighting!

Your space race used German Nazi scientists after WW2 and gave them complete protection from war crimes against humanity.

You have the highest murder rate BY FAR than almost all countries put together.

You have more people in jail than - again, all countries combined.

There are tons of examples of Americans thinking they are superior without any actual foundation in the actual truth.

As for invading Canada, are you to invade Greenland as well as you wouldn't even get 100 yerds past the Canadian border and your military would not be able to ' take the country' as the USA has never - ever - won a war of its own - Korea - Vietnam - you lost both those and you will loose BIG TIME if you ever thought of invading Canada. Besides, what do you think the Commonwealth will make of you invading a Soverign Nation ? What do you think the world would make of you INVADING your neighbour and until recently - your best friends ? What do you think the King of England and the Commonwealth might have to say about you invading one of his protectorives.

Does the average Trump follower even think and consider the failings of this man ? JB
