First of all, what a disapointment Trumps Parade was, and here in the UK we do so much better daily with the Changing of the Guard. I bet Trump was furious. Mind you, when it comes to putting on a parade - the UK outshines them all and as brilliant as they think they are, the Trump Parade was :-

1) The parade was crap. Depressed looking soldiers and not even in smart wear but scruffy wear. I didn't see dancing bands and soldiers marching in designs and putting on a show.

2) Trump and his guests looking absolutely bored to tears.

3) Hardly 5% of the people estimated to show up, showed up, and it was vast empty spaces and stall holders not selling a single thing. 200,000 expected and barely 10,000 showed up, and a large number of them were journalists.

At a minimum cost of $45 million - and with millions of Americans struggling with income, housing, food, and here we have a President spending multi millions on a parade that was appallingly received and where hundreds of thousands came onto the streets AGAINST THE KING OF AMERICA - TRUMP and outshone his great grand display of his penis size ( that being tiny ) in order to prove himself a man.

How small, how very very small can a man show himself to be. I am sure Putin was watching and just laughing out loud at the pathetic attempt to show the world how powerful he ( Trump ) is and he couldn't even put on a decent parade.

It was so bad even some tanks called in sick.

It was so bad North Korea sent a sympathy card.

It was so bad Putin sent his sympathies.

It was so bad planes flying overhead dipped their wings in condolences.

Are there any regions where British English is the dominant language instead of American English?

What a fascinating question and clearly asked by an American !

Let’s see.

As we know, people in the USA speak (and write) American English.

Americans primarily speak English, not a separate language called "American". While American English has its own distinct vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar, it is still considered a dialect of the English language, not a distinct language. The term "American" is often used to refer to the specific regional variety of English spoken in the United States

And, funnily enough, there are lots of other countries in the world besides the USA.

In fact, US inhabitants make up only 4.92% of the total world population.

Isn’t that shocking ! Less than 5 percent of the people in the world live in the US !

I hope you’re sitting down; I’m sure this news will be upsetting for you Americans.

Now, let’s turn to the question of who speaks ‘British English’.

Have you ever heard of England, for example ? Or Scotland ? What about Wales ? Or Northern Ireland ?

Those four countries are united in a political entity known as the United Kingdom. And guess what ? The dominant language in the United Kingdom is English ! Who would have thought it ?

Now this part is going to be hard for you, so you’ll need to concentrate.

There’s a large group of countries in the world that belong to an international association called The Commonwealth of Nations (also known as the British Commonwealth).

The total population of the countries of the British Commonwealth is about 2.245 billion. This is almost a third of the population of the enntire world.

Yes, you read that right. One third (33%) of the world’s population. And the poor old USA is less than 5%!

Anyway, there are currently 56 countries in the Commonwealth of Nations. and all of them were once colonies of the former British Empire. (They’re all now independent nations, but they choose to remain in the Commonwealth.)

They include Australia, New Zealand, India, Pakistan, South Africa, Canada, the Bahamas, Kenya, Malaysia, Namibia, Singapore, and many others that you can easily discover with a simple google search.

And each of these countries has English as either its main or secondary language.

Each of them has a slightly different accent, and their vocabularies and spellings may vary, but essentially they use British English.

(Canada uses more of a mix of British and American English, but it’s certainly not totally American.)

I’m not sure if you get the picture, so let me spell it out for you:

The USA is the only country in the world whose main language is the American version of English.

(In the Phillippines, many different languages are spoken, but US English is taught in schools as a second language. This is one of only a few places where this happens.)

I know this news will be hard for some to grasp, but take your time and let it sink in. I’m sure you’ll eventually get used to it. There is nothin that is culturally just American excet maybe the American Indians who came before white man as just about everything to do with the USA comes through immigration over hundreds of years from all over Europe... The US saved Europe in WW1, saved it again in WW2, established a global system insuring Nazi Germany won't return, supported Europe with money, imported European goods and helped their markets, and now Europe side with Ukraine against America, why?

Jeez;- How many times can you be wrong in just one question? It is staggering that so many Americans assume the USA won the war and that it rules the world, when it doesn't. Independantly, America has NEVER won a war of its own - Vietnam - Korea -both lost horrendously.

In the First World War Americans turned up years later, no training (the French had to train the troops) and only had small firearms. By the time they were trained and equipped there was just six months left before armistice.

Before deciding what side to take in WWII, American companies supplied both sides, factories were even set up in Germany to aid the German war effort.

During the Second World War America again turned up late, tried to implement US laws in the U.K., on one occasion, American MP’s had a gun battle with black soldiers because the white soldiers wanted segregation in a British pub. The locals and the landlord of the pub supported the black soldiers.

America LOANED the British government money to fight the war. This loan was a US government policy that was hoped to keep America out of WWII. Every penny was paid back, WITH INTEREST.

As for Europe supporting Ukraine against America, it is America that has decided to support the invading murderous cunt called Putin. Trump has changed Americas allegiance. I’m not sure whether it is a financial thing or trump is a Russian asset. Either way, trump has made America a pariah state.

Is the US being laughed at ?

Nah - because it’s no longer funny.

Over 80 years of diplomacy, after a bloody world war where some 15 million soldiers died to stop EXACTLY this kind of bullshit we’re hearing from Trump, Musk and Hegseth.

The US is done. Nobody wants them as a partner anymore, because they are just too unhinged. Trade with the US will dry up. Trump tore up alliances and trade treaties anyway.

People aren’t laughing, because we know what we’re seeing. We had this in Germany in the 1930s. We swore “never again” and paid in blood. And we sure as fuck aren’t going to just sit back and watch it happen again.

The US is over. Democracy in the US - such as it was - is done. We’re not laughing. We’re too busy adapting to a world where the US is no longer a partner and worse, when it may become an enemy.

Sad, but this is their own doing.

Is this the end f America as we know it ? Yes it is.

America will never recover from the damage and changes Trump has made, or destroyed and no one trusts us . No country and no business will ever trust us again. Our dominance on the planet has been in so many fields, but Trump has destroyed trade deals, so business will never return - and he has insulted the armed forces, so they are reluctant to go to war because he says so, and the world is fed up with the bully boy America, even before Trump, and this has been the final nail in the coffin with Trump shooting himself in both feet and destroying the very thing he was supposedly going to make great again. The only thing that could benefit from all this destruction, is Trump stealing billions of $ for himself.

He is an old man and will not leave America great again at all but a destroyed and demoralised country fighting to find itself on a planet that has laregely turned its back on the USA and in the years to come, it will decline further and further until the toilet lid slams behind us as we are washed into history as a lost empire that destroyed itself from within.
