Is Donald trump Stupid ?

Let’s take a look at his decisions.

The Trump Taj Mahal, which was built and owned by Trump, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 1991. The Trump Plaza, the Trump Castle, and the Plaza Hotel, all owned by Trump, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 1992. THCR, which was founded by Trump in 1995, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2004. Trump Entertainment Resorts Inc., the new name given to Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts after its 2004 bankruptcy, declared bankruptcy in 2009.

Trump Shuttle Inc., launched by Trump in 1989, defaulted on its loans in 1990 and ceased to exist by 1992. Trump University, founded by Trump in 2005, ceased operations in 2011 amid lawsuits and investigations regarding the company’s business practices. Trump Vodka, a brand of vodka produced by Drinks Americas under license from the Trump Organization, was introduced in 2005 and discontinued in 2011.

Trump Mortgage, LLC, a financial services company founded by Trump in 2006, ceased operations in 2007. GoTrump dot com, a travel site founded by Trump in 2006, ceased operations in 2007. Trump Steaks, a brand of steak and other meats founded by Trump in 2007, discontinued sales two months after its launch.

Over the previous three decades Trump and his businesses had been involved in 3,500 legal cases in U.S. federal and state courts. In the 1,300 cases where the record establishes the outcome, Trump settled 175 times, lost 38, won 450, and had another 137 cases end with some other outcome. In the other 500 cases, judges dismissed plaintiffs’ claims against President Trump. Sometimes the outcomes were suspected to be due to financial contributions to the judges.

Given the long list of utter failures of his businesses, it can be difficult to consider Donald Trump to be intelligent. His history is a long list of profitable businesses he bought and then ran into bankruptcy and businesses he started that never were never profitable at all.

Not counting the court cases he’s faced due to his crimes while President, he’s been in court so often over his lifetime that courts of law can almost be considered a kind of home to him. He runs through lawyers at an alarming rate because he either doesn’t listen to them or he doesn’t pay them. That too places doubts on his overall intelligence.

He has a well-deserved reputation of hiring contractors and refusing to pay them the amount he promised or not paying them at all. That says a lot of negative things about his character, but it also says things about the people who sign contracts with him. You’d think that they’d look up his business history and refuse to do any work for him, but there always seems to be people who will. There’s a long list of contractors who performed work for Trump and lost their companies when he stiffed the bill. So there is evidence that when Trump is involved stupidity is contagious.

( Hint - I've never gone bankrupt or conned anyone, not paid my bills or been prosecuted for anything ...)

1985 - Started as a self employed Masseur / Escort aged 30.

Had an accountant and book keeper, paid tax and saved £33,000 in 18 months.

1988 - Bought a flat in Hammeremith for £93,000 with a mortgage.

Started an Escort Agency called 30Plus.

Sold the flat in 1994 for £96,000 and bought a house in Hammersmith for £185,000 - with a mortgage. Spent £45,000 on the house.

Continued working as an escort and running the agency.

Financually, every year earned good money - paid my taxes and mortgage and lived very well.

November 1999 - Sold the house for £500,000. Paid off the mortgage and had a handsome amount left over. Retired from the sex industry.

March 30th 2000. Bought Hamilton Hall for cash - no mortgage - for £210,000 and spent £120,000 on it.

Have made money every year.

Now, I have never gone bankrupt. Always made a profit - always lived within my means - and if I couldn't afford something I either went without or saved until I could - always worked hard - and this allows me to run Hamilton Hall as a NOT FOR PROFIT VENUE as I am not greedy and always want to ' give back' to the community to help those less fortunate.

So. What do you think ? Am I am a better business man than Donald Trump ?

I think almost everyone in business is a better businessman than Donald Trump.
