'WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM HAMILTON HALL'
WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM HAMILTON HALL - and what can we offer that you think we may be able to do ? Legal and sensible please and remember, we are very broad minded here and nothing shocks us.
In 26 years at Hamilton Hall every single workshop, Chill Out, Festive Season, Special Event and time spent here has all been down to one person who has arranged, organised and facilitated HUNDREDS of workshops on all sorts pf topics and hsted over 1,300 weekends - and that one person has always asked for your input - and when in short supply, you get what I come up with and offer - and if not to your taste - then where was your opinion and input - if non existant, then I cannot help you. More to the point, I will not help those who do not help themselves.
Scores of spiritual, sexual, self development and just relaxing events have been hosted over the decades and while some are really busy for a number of years, they eventually come to an end and we think of new things to enlighten, amuse and maybe shock - and your input helps.
'BAPTISM'
I was invited to my twin brothers baptism last Sunday. He joined a local ministry through his daugher and while originally he was just offering support for his daughter, it seems the Jesus stuff has taken hold and - bless him - and his wife - they found Jesus and both decided to be baptised in a special ceremony where 11 in all were ' dunked' and while I may be this cynical old witch ( who me ??? ) I did find it moving.
Someone asked me if I was the same as my brother and while we are identical twins, me being the older - and while we look alike our life journeys have been completely different. He is the younger twin and with identical twins the alpha - the older one, that being me - will usually always be slimmer in weight, have the bigger personality and will usually be LGBT. ( I am the G bit by the way... ) and David and I are exactly that.
He is a lovely man, quieter than me, heavier built ( chunkier ) and a family man with 2 grown up daughters and 4 grandchildren. Then there is ' The Invisible Uncle' - me - as while we live locally, we only catch up every few months as we are all so busy getting on with our lives and if and when we come together, it's like it was yesterday.
It was good to share this special occasion with David and Liz and especially good as while he has chosen - late in life - to find his belief structure and Jesus, I also found mine many decades ago in a more un religious manner - more spiritual and less dogma and negative rhetoric - ( less blood shed and mass murder ).
I was and am thrilled for them. It was a great afternoon and so many coming up and asking if I was David's brother ( er yer - we look identical... ) and all very nice people. Tea and Mr. Kipling cakes followed and had I reaslised, I would have baked a few gateaux for them, better than shop bought and I do -if I dare say so - 'Make Exceedingly Good Cakes.'- ha ha
'I DO FILL UP'
Had such a sweet e mail from a reguar customer who has been many times and for many years, that he was not up for the journey any longer - coming from Yorkshire - and thanking us for all we have done to help make his days brighter, and it does make me fill up - I do get emotional, as bless him. Bless his comapny and his custom but most of all, BIG THANKYOU FOR THE RECOGNITION - as we work so hard here and we do put ourselves out and we do listen and pay attention and we will speak up if we - I - feel you are wrong or just headed in the wrong direction - and as we get around an 85% repeat clientelle, clearly we do something right and while some cannot stand me personanlly - that is for them to sort out and not me. If you don't like Marmite, then that's my middle name. Over the years we have experienced many regular guests who - over time - dir or become incapable of coming and I always astate that if it is the cost - come as my guest, but in most cases it is the journey is too much and not the cst, as i would absorb the cost for them but - cannot help with a 5 hour journey.
It does move me though, it truly does.
'STRICTLY'
Watched the new version of STRICTLY and was concerned what Josh Widdacombe would be like;- as I do not find him funny at all, but Woody and I sat all ready to not be judgemental and to give it a chance, and we were both very pleased as it was okay - the new hosts did very well, and no fuck ups, no pregnant pauses and - top marks to them all. The BBC has a tendancy of screwing up their top ranking programmes - Bake Off - Top Gear - -- AND THEY LOST THEM TO OTHER CHANNELLS - WTF IS THE BEEB THINKING ) so lets hope STRICTLY stays on top and keeps going as we love our Saturday and Sunday nights sat in front of the telly, feet up, cocktail, herbal ciggie - whatever - and just relax and claim to be able to do just as well, if not better ... ha ha NOT. Nothing too gay about us though, we discuss outfits and ' What is she wearing ? It's awful ' kinda queeny chat as we pull apart outfits, make up and hair - so - nothing too camp then...
'BEAUTIFUL AUTUMN'
Today, like most days recently, has been cloudy with sunny intervals and those sunny intervals have been glorious and it is turning into a very pleasant autumn. The Virginia Creeper on the front of the house has started to turn ginger and eventually red and many of Woody's plantings in the garden and various pots have done wonderfully and continue to do so, and soon we shall be digging up our own potatoes - where we grow enough for about 3 meals, but it is fun and we enjoy the home produce, however small a portion. It may be small ( the garden ) but we take great care and enjoyment out ofthe gardens here and Woody does a spectacular job of looking after it and finding cuttings from other peoples gardens ( and B&Q ) and from the cliff tops and we have a great variety of wild flowers as well as tropicl gingers and the colours this year were spectacular. Sad though to see autumn creeping in and things dying but then, it happens every year so... we now make plans for the winter months and bulb planting time for next spring... and come next spring, we shall be glad took the time.
'CHEST PAINS'
Went and spent a delightful 5 hours in A&E this week with chest pains, and turns out is was nothing to worry about and I am not - apparantly - having a heart attack. Panic over. My father and his father both died at 72 with heart attacks. I shall be 72 next April, so it is a consideration and always best to waste an afternoon sitting uncomfortably in a noisy environment filled with other sick people, to make sure something more serious is not going on. Gary came with me and bless him for sitting bored all that time.
Men are cowards about this kind of thing - but go - if in any doubt about anything - take your little self down to A&E and be prepared to wait a long time, but go - and take a book.
When I was an escort decades ago, I had a client with a growth ' up his bum' - ( don't ask how I know ) and I spoke to him concerning this and advised a visit to his doctor. He never went. Time after time I advised him and he constantly said he would get around to it ' one day' and guess what - he died of bowel cancer and the warnings were there - I had voiced up probably 15 times over a two yer period, - and he was too scared to do anything and so - brought about his death years earlier than need be and all -becase he was afraid of the doctor.
'STAIR CARPET'
Carpet man were here this week laying some new stair carpet after Tapi Carpets messed me around for a whole month and will get a somewhat negative response on Trust Pilot. Tapi carpets - NOT CHEAP - told them this was the start of a whole revovation so a BIG ORDER - A VERY BIG ORDER - not just a small flat but a 10 bedroom hotel, and this first small order was to test them and see how well they did, and they fucked it up straight away.
Whatever happened to FREE FITTING as £150 extra to fit was a new one on me.
Measured all wrong and on day of fitting - couldn't be done - not enough carpet ordered - and have had to wait a further month to get it sorted and this week it went down and is soooo soft under foot.
The old carpet still had tons of wear in it but the edges of the stairs were going and as I now ( after I am married ) have someone to pass the venue onto, I can reschedule repairs and upgrades for the future - as otherwise when I die the venue gets sold and knocked down and re built as flats, and any new carpet will be wasted... but with Gary and Woody - presumably - continuing on after the other Supreme Being ( the other ??? ) calls me to his/her side ( well where else ??? ) and Hammy Hall will still be upkept as you would expect to find it.

RADICAL MUSLIMS AND THE HYOCRACY OF THEIR ACTIONS
They will lecture the West for an hour about how homosexuality is haram, how it is a Western disease, how their societies are pure because the book forbids it. - ( Oh really ??? See below )
Then they go into a back room and buy a poor boy of eleven or twelve, tell his father it is training, pay him, make the child dance, and spend the night with him.
They have a name for it so they do not have to use the word. They tell themselves it is not the thing they preach against because the victim is a child and the man is the one doing the taking.
That is not piety. That is a loophole built for predators.
The same mouths that scream about pride flags about how homosexuality is a sin - have been running this trade in plain sight for years.
Commanders, policemen, men with money and a car. They pick the boys who have nothing, because those are the ones whose parents can be bought with a promise. If your moral system can call two men in a Western city an abomination and then put a child on a rug for a room full of men, it is not a moral system. It is a costume. And the costume is still being worn.
I had scores of Muslim clients when I was a sex worker and I always teased and told them Allah could see what they got up to here in the west just as He can see what they do ' back home' and yet, as soon as they board that plane for home - to Mother and a Muslim lifestyle, they turn back into vile two faced hypocrits and become pios and pure while having sin in their heart and soul. They throw abuse at those who do the very things many wish they could do but for their belief structure and by abusing us - the westerners who do not believe as they do, they actually think they are doing Allahs work against the infedils - us - and that they will get reward in Paradise. Delusional lying hypocrits - so two faced - and just as bad as our priests and vicars who fuck the choir boys while preaching holier than thou clap trap from the lecturn and the vile lies told by a man of the cloth - whatever religion, is appalling and yet - madly - millions still follow and knowing of the horrors, do nothing.
So much for religion then !

You make, and take, from the news that which you wish to see and hear. You observe what you want and comment of things that affect you personally. If you don't like something, do not read it and move on but do not shy away from what IS going on in the world of which - you are a part. World news is so easy to find these days and differing opinions not hard to find. Having an opinion is vital and being a ' don't care' person helps no one. So open your mind - open your heart - open your awareness and ALWAYS be open to new ideas.
