You make, and take, from the news that which you wish to see and hear. You observe what you want and comment of things that affect you personally. If you don't like something, do not read it and move on but do not shy away from what IS going on in the world of which - you are a part. World news is so easy to find these days and differing opinions not hard to find. Having an opinion is vital and being a ' don't care' person helps no one. TV chef Fanny Cradock died penniless in 'tiny flat' despite flashy lifestyle
Story by Lucretia Munro

Seventies TV chef Fanny Cradock was an original when it came to showcasing her culinary skills to her adoring fans on the small screen. And at the time, she dominated the airwaves and led a lifestyle most people could only dream of back then, from driving around in a Rolls-Royce to chartering a boat in Cannes.
JB COMMENTS - Fanny Craddock lived in Guernsey back in the 1970's and I vaguely knew her. She complained one day of being recognised everywhere she went and I did point out to her that she had a white Rolly Royce - on Guernsey - an island 7 miles long by 4 miles wide - and she had a Rolly Royse, where there were only 2 other rolls Royce and they belonged to the Governor and Bailiff of the Island ( political positions ) and if she REALLY wanted to be invisible, get rid of the white mink coats and the Rolls Royce and then you will not be so visible, but the truth was, SHE WANTED AND INVITED THE ATTENTION, yet complained about it as well. She really was a foolish women who destroyed everything about her with her temperament.
