The guards are only human

A little boy who was 6 years old named Tom

had been waiting all day for his dad to take him to see “real-life toy soldiers.” He was very happy and excited.

But in the crowd of London, Tom got separated from his parents. He was very scared and ran to a guard who was standing straight in a red coat, but he didn’t look at Tom.

Tom grabbed his coat and said, “Help me, uncle. Please help me.”

The guard saw the fear in the boy’s eyes and moved his gaze. There were only 2 minutes left before his duty ended, but he let Tom stay with him because he wanted to learn from the experience.

When his duty finished, he immediately went to Tom and reassured him not to worry.

Tom, sobbing, said, “I can’t find my mommy. I came with her, but I don’t know where she went. I’m lost.”

The guard hugged him and said, “You are safe; we will find your mommy, Tom. Don’t cry.”

After a while, the police found Tom’s parents.

Sometimes, a little kindness can mean a lot to someone. ❤️

Helena is caught stealing from a supermarket.

The police arrive to arrest her.

The police asked Helena, “Did you steal?”

Helena said,

"My children don't have a father. I'm also very poor and sick. Right now, I don't even have enough money to buy food for my children. So, out of compulsion, I stole biscuits, jelly, and bread to feed my hungry children."

The police officers took them to the supermarket manager and bought Helena's children a variety of food. They then even drove the ailing Helena home in a police car.

Helena's eyes welled with tears. She asked the police officer,

“Sir, so much food… it’s too much for me.”

The police officer replied,

"Sometimes we have to enforce humanity instead of law! Because law can never be above humanity."

Truly, humanity is the greatest religion.
