Tragedy in a picture.

These images broke us this morning and we've been contemplating if we should post them or not but ultimately decided to post it for three reasons. These images are of a Turkish man, Mesut, holding the hand of his 15-year old-daughter, Irmakleyla, who was crushed by the building after the earthquake struck. He sat with her all night throughout the cold, knowing she had passed away.

This gives us another opportunity to remind you to help as much as you can. Maybe your form of helping is spreading awareness or maybe it's donating to the cause. Whatever it is, it's part of the larger good and this is a collective effort. If you are donating, do your research on the charity and see how they spend their finances (Tax forms and audits should be on their websites)

As we continue to see disparity, chaos, and grief, all around the world, remember to be grateful. Practice sitting down and count every blessing you have. From your eyesight that lets you read this post to the mind that can facilitate and understand every word. Remind yourself of all that you have been blessed with. We're always so stuck up on things we don't have, what we wish our lives can be. Gratitude is one of the keys to happiness and acknowledging all the good in our lives is the foundation for abundance.

Tell your loved ones you love them as often as you can.

Do not wait til tomorrow to let them know how much they mean to you.

If you are not moved by this, then maybe you are a cold hearted bastard.

If you just turn away - then you are an uncaring thoughtless soul.

If that is, you have a soul that shows compassion, caring, thoughtfulness and love towards anyone, however different to you they may be. We are all in this together and for those with children - just imagine the heartache of this man. Your beautiful young vibrant daughter, tragically killed in this manner and you are right there - holding her cold hand in death.

Absolutely tragic.

Appreciate what you do have.
