What is the difference between religion and spirituaity ?
RELIGION
As the picture above details it clearly for you - Religion is full of dogma, rules, diciplines and you are damned to hell if you do not follow it's every meaning and word and too many Vicars, Priests etc. shove their own meaning onto Biblical writings that to modern day, make no sense at all yet it is still used to deny humanity the truth and wholeness of any belief system as it is more about the power of the church than the actual teachings of Christ. It is more about the church as a business that will survive despite being full of pedophilia, abuse, mass murger, genocide and the church damning millions of souls as unworthy. So much for a loving forgiving God. So much for peace and unity. So much for religion being about peace and harmony when most religions cast non believers out, damn them and claim they will go to hell and if ever there was a manipulative load of evil - EVIL - clap trap designed to enable the church and NOT enable you as a follower, that is religion.
SPIRITUALTY
Spirituality is made up of all religions - as they all have the same core values at their heart. Spirituality has no dogma, no henious past and no death to non believers and is open to everyone from all walks of life and all belief structures. Spiritually, God allows you to do your own thing, or not at all, as God doesn't care what you do - it's your life and if you want to feel better by being religious, good for you - and remember, God DOES NOT WANT YOUR WORSHIP , as any boyfriend or wife who demanded even a quarter the amount of worship - we would definately send them for therapy, and God / Alah that demands worship 5 times a day, is somewhat a fuck up surely needing some SERIOUS therapy and that is man made and not God.
and if you want to believe nothing at all, than God is just as happy and really doesn't care one way or the other.
Spirituality takes the best and the holiest and the angels and the beauty and the light and concentrate on equality under the stars and equality in God - no damnation - no mass murder , no brutal religious wars where both sides believe God is on their side against the other.
You make, and take, from the news that which you wish to see and hear. You observe what you want and comment of things that affect you personally. If you don't like something, do not read it and move on but do not shy away from what IS going on in the world of which - you are a part. World news is so easy to find these days and differing opinions not hard to find. Having an opinion is vital and being a ' don't care' person helps no one. So open your mind - open your heart - open your awareness and ALWAYS be open to new ideas.
