Now, he believes that 'he is under real threat' and that 'people out there want him dead.'

JB: This is disgraceful,. when the NHS is short of doctors and then they go and do this. I support what this doctor did wholeheartedly and the NHS has desperately over reacted and this should never have come to this.

True stories from old Hollywood nobody would believe today

Story by Miles Brucke

Old Hollywood wasn't just about glamour and red carpets. The real stories are wilder than any script that ever got greenlit. Studios ran like dictatorships. Stars lived double lives. Some moments defy logic entirely.

Charlie Chaplin’s Look-Alike Contest

The contest took place in San Francisco during Chaplin's peak fame, when his Tramp character was the most recognizable face on earth. Judges scored contestants on their ability to mimic his signature waddle, twirling cane, and toothbrush mustache. Chaplin, performing as himself without exaggeration, reportedly finished in 20th place.

Melania Trump makes history as one of the most despised first ladies

The president isn’t the only one breaking records for American disapproval. The president isn’t the only one breaking records for the number of Americans who disapprove of him. First Lady Melania Trump is faring just as badly, according to CNN chief data analyst Harry Enten. “I would say that the American people really don’t care for Melania Trump,” Enten said on a recent segment. He explained that at minus 12 points, she is not only at her own lowest net favorability rating, but also has the lowest favorability rating of any first lady in history at this point in a presidency. What’s more, just over a year ago, Melania Trump was polling at plus three points. And at this point in her husband’s first term, she was at a whopping plus thirty points.

Donald Trump launches extraordinary attack on Pope Leo calling him ‘weak’ and ‘terrible’

President says US-born pope is ‘not doing a very good job’ and is ‘a very liberal person’ in unprecedented assault on leader of Catholic church

Flying back to Washington from Florida on Sunday night, Trump used a lengthy social media post to sharply criticise Leo, then kept it up in comments on the tarmac to reporters. “I’m not a fan of Pope Leo,” he said. Trump’s comments came after Leo suggested over the weekend that a “delusion of omnipotence” was fuelling the US-Israel war in Iran. While it’s not unusual for popes and presidents to be at cross-purposes, it’s exceedingly rare for the pope to criticise a US leader – and Trump’s stinging response is equally uncommon.

Of course, there is no "long-term gain" to be had here. Iran posed no immediate threat to the United States, and no American interests were at stake. Trump launched this war because Israel wanted it, and now American troops are dying and the global economy is contracting.

As Trump's own intelligence agencies have admitted, Iran was not pursuing nuclear weapons. In fact, Ayatollah Khamenei—who was assassinated at the beginning of the war—had a religious fatwa in place banning Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.

"So President Trump has built the greatest economy in the world before," she added, conveniently rewriting history to ignore the disastrous effects of his harebrained tariffs. "He is doing it again. Of course, we have this short-term disruption. But, again, it's for the long-term strategic goal of ensuring that these terrorists cannot possess a nuclear bomb."

There you have it, ladies and gentlemen. You have to pay more at the grocery market and gas station because Donald Trump wants to drop bombs on schools full of children overseas. It may not seem worth it to you, but rest assured, the president—who continues to enrich himself and his family on a daily basis—is confident that your suffering is a small price to pay for his agenda.

Remember when this monster ran on being anti-war?

James Garner was one of the biggest stars of the 60s and 70s. If he’s not as well known today, maybe it’s because of his life behind the scenes.

For years, James Garner felt like one of the most effortless stars in Hollywood. He was charming, funny, and completely natural on screen. But behind that easygoing image was a career—and a life—that was far more complicated than it looked. James Garner always came across like one of the most relaxed guys in Hollywood. But growing up? It was the complete opposite. His mom died when he was a kid, his dad remarried, and Garner later said his stepmother was abusive. Home wasn’t exactly a place you could relax—or even feel safe most of the time.

If you find anything on this web site offensive, please know, I don't give a shit. If you choose, and it IS a choice, to be offended, then my work here is done. If I have made you think. If I have made you stop. If I have made you re consider. If I have made you - maybe - angry - and if that actually got your blood pumping and your mind racing, then that is good. It's time to wake up from the dream.

You make, and take, from the news that which you wish to see and hear. You observe what you want and comment of things that affect you personally. If you don't like something, do not read it and move on but do not shy away from what IS going on in the world of which - you are a part. World news is so easy to find these days and differing opinions not hard to find. Having an opinion is vital and being a ' don't care' person helps no one. So open your mind - open your heart - open your awareness and ALWAYS be open to new ideas.
