Everything on the list in the picture below can be made - cheaply and easily - from Hemp, but is largely made by the chemical industry and all have serious side effects. HELP IN NATURAL.

And before you lecture me about how it is an ilegal and deadly drug - SUGGESTION: - LEARN SOME TRUTHFUL FACTS ABOUT HEMP BEFORE YOU MAKE A FOOL OF YOURSELF.

Hemp is a drug, and illegal drugs kill people. Hemp does not kill you, maybe the tobacco you mix it will might, so ban the tobacco. Help is non addictive and does not kill you in excess, UNLIKE BOOZE that kills tens of thousands every year in the UK alone.

More people die from Prescription Drugs overdoses than Cannabis.

Alcahol is a drug that kills tens of thousands more people a year than all the illegal drugs put togeter and is legal, taxed and socially acceptable. c

The hypocrisy surrounding Cannabis / Marijuana / Spliffs / Wacky Backy / call it what you like, is one of big business wanting to promote their chemical products and so ban and destroy a natural plant that helps scores of medical ailments, that big business want to charge you for their drugs trather than you grow your own healing aid in the garden where they make no money.

It's all about power and money and NOT what is good for you.

BOOZE KILLS - CANNABIS DOES NOT.

Based on official data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS), deaths directly caused by cannabis toxicity are extremely rare in the UK, often recording zero or single-digit figures in specific reports.

However, the number of drug-related deaths where cannabis is mentioned on the death certificate (often involving other factors or polydrug use) is higher.

Key findings regarding cannabis-related deaths in the UK:

England and Wales (2024): There were 32 deaths related to cannabis use registered in 2024. This is a slight decrease from the previous year, which was the highest in 30 years.

Direct vs. Indirect Cause:

While direct fatal overdoses from cannabis toxicity are "negligible," cannabis can be a factor in deaths involving cardiovascular problems, accidents (such as traffic collisions), or suicides.

Polydrug Use: A 2022 study showed that in 96% of cases where cannabis was detected at post-mortem, it was in combination with other drugs, with acute drug toxicity usually being the primary cause of death.

Historical Context: Prior claims suggesting 30,000 annual deaths, often circulated in media, are generally regarded as unsupported by toxicological data, likely stemming from a 2003 editorial letter in the BMJ that was widely criticized.

Context on Overall Drug Deaths:

While cannabis-related deaths are low compared to other substances, the overall number of drug-poisoning deaths in England and Wales has reached record highs, with 5,565 deaths registered in 2024, driven primarily by opiates, cocaine, and benzodiazepines.

DEATHS TO ALCOHOL

In 2023, there were 10,473 deaths from alcohol-specific causes registered in the UK, the highest number on record. This represents a significant upward trend in deaths caused solely by alcohol, such as alcoholic liver disease, with a mortality rate of 15.9 per 100,000 people. Men are roughly twice as likely to die from these causes than women.

Key details regarding alcohol deaths in the UK:

Record Highs:

The 2023 figure of 10,473 is a 4.2% increase from 2022 and over 38% higher than in 2019, before the pandemic. Clearly, when it doubt, when afraid, when troubled or when in a pandemic and closed indoors, people often turn to ' alternatives' and drugs and alcohol are commonly used but just see how many die from alcohol compared to Cannabis.

Regional Differences:

Scotland and Northern Ireland had the highest rates of alcohol-specific deaths in 2022. Within England, the North East region has consistently seen the highest rates.

Definition:

These figures refer to "alcohol-specific" deaths, which are conditions wholly caused by alcohol, not deaths where alcohol was a contributing factor.

England Focus:

In 2023, England alone recorded 8,274 alcohol-specific deaths.

So the next time you raise a glass in celebration - just remember it is better to smoke a spliff than down the hatch with booze.

On a personal level :- My sister died of alcoholism - or liver failure - when she was just 38 years of age, some 35 years ago and I have gone down the rabbit hole of helping, supporting and living with various alcoholics while being a non drinker, even learning all about the AA and the 12 Step Programme - and doing Addiction Therapy to learn some helpful tricks, as smoker of cannabis;- and the heart break when someone dies of alcoholism affects the whole family - as my sisters child died - born in an alcoholic syndrome, her husbands business failed because of the stress and heartbreak of living with a drunk is HARD HARD HARD and 6 members of his staff lost their jobs as he simply couldn't cope. He lost his baby girl aged 18 months and then 6 months later, his wife - my sister. And all because of alcohol.

My American lover would beat me up and tried to kill me twice ( long story ) and all because - not ony was he fucked up - but alcohol brought out the worst in him - hence he would attack me with absolutely no provocation, but treated it as a reason to have another drink - and then another.

Being an addict is usually hiding something much deeper and the booze or the drug is often a release or a curtain to hide behind and troubles are forgotten / ignored rather than face the problem and sort it out on an emotional mental level. My sister and X partner both were fucked up ( long stories ) and needed serious therapy but found solace, in booze.

Ultimately, it killed them both.

6 drunk men - have a fight

6 stoned men, form a band.

You make, and take, from the news that which you wish to see and hear. You observe what you want and comment of things that affect you personally. If you don't like something, do not read it and move on but do not shy away from what IS going on in the world of which - you are a part. World news is so easy to find these days and differing opinions not hard to find. Having an opinion is vital and being a ' don't care' person helps no one. So open your mind - open your heart - open your awareness and ALWAYS be open to new ideas.
