A Dog Discovers What Love Is Like After Being Found Locked in a Crate During a Snowstorm.

An old man was awakened at 4 a.m. by the sound of barking outside his door during a severe winter storm in Kansas City. His heart fell when he went outside. A shivering dog was trapped in a crate, buried under snow, struggling to stay alive.

The man called KC Pet Project because he couldn't lift her himself. To save her, Officer Angel traversed icy roads for more than an hour. Angel remembered, "She was trembling when I got there, but her tail waggled so hard it shook the crate when she saw me."

Her rescuers' hearts were soon won over by the dog, who was subsequently named Blair after the storm. She was remarkably healthy despite her ordeal.

She quickly found comfort in a foster home, where she quickly befriended the family dog and cuddled with her foster mother. Through Missouri Pit Bull Rescue, Blair is currently waiting for her forever family. She deserves the warm, loving home she has always desired after enduring such cruelty. ❤️

This poor dogs story has a happy ending, but so many animals are badly treated at the hands of humans who have no right to be animal owners.

The dog I had before last - the one that kept attacking me until I ended up in A & E - and had to be put down sadly, had been over bred in a Romanian Puppy Farm and she came on heat almost immediately after coming off heat and her vagina was the size of a side plate - HUGE - and with over breeding her whole mentrul cycle was completely out or wack, and it made her crazy and keep attacking. Over breeding a dog is cruel. I had 3 litters of Weimeraners over a 8 year period, ( not me personally - my pair of dogs ) so well spaced out and not get the dog pregnant every time she came on heat.

People are cruel. People are real shitty. So many are just so unworthy of having animals as they simply don't have the capacity to care for them. ( Same could be said for a lot of parents. )
