Oh dear God. You dumb fucking moron. First of all manufacturing is NOT back in the United States and why in the hell would Europeans want to buy anything from the United States ? Hate to break it to you fuck stick but with the orange baboon in power, the United States doesn't have many friends left aside from the likes of Russia and North Korea. Canadians and Europeans and Australians and pretty much everybody else are looking to buy from each other and not buy from the United States and the world is pulling away from the USA because of Trump and stupid people like you.
JB: I almost spent £120 with an 'on line' order and when I realised it was manufactured and sold in America, I cancelled my order and told them the reasons why. America is toxic. I will not do business with toxic coutries if and where I have a choice.
Period. I advised the company to help create a new presidrent, one that was not destroying the USA and turning it into a pariah state the rest of the world avoids at all costs.
You won't like this answer but…..
In the UK there is a long running television program called university challenge where teams of students from each university in the country battle it out to become the cleverest university for the year on TV.
A similar program used to exist and for all I know may still do in the US called college bowl.
Some years ago now a British university was invited to a college bowl episode to compete against an American team.
The organisers rather arrogantly gave the British team a head start by giving them a number of points, presumably because they thought the British team might not be so familiar with the American TV show or maybe the American centric questions that might arise.
The contest began and the British team went on to thoroughly rout, Indeed, totally spank the American team to the extent that even without the head start they had been given. The difference in scores was truly embarrassing.
This contest was never repeated and I have struggled to find any reference to it on YouTube or elsewhere. That episode seems to have been eradicated from history.
I think I have answered the question.
It astounds me that the average American who does not know where Paris or London are, who think Europe is a country, - that America owns Iraq and its oil,- who cannot read the time on a roman numerical clock and who actually believe they won World War 2 all on their own and how the rest of the world bows down to America, it astounds just how bad their education system is and how ' in your face proud' they seem to be of their own ignorance and lack of any knowledge concerning the rest of the planet as to many Americans, the USA is the centre of the universe. The level of uneducated people with barely the basics of maths and english, is astounding.
( Talk about a dumb shit question, clearly only asked by a maga dumb shit American...)
So let's just humor you for a moment, and imagine that the lightbulb really was an American invention… which it is not.
Well, it's simple.. - .. over here, it gets dark at night and sometimes we want extra light indoors if there's not enough natural light coming in through the window.. - .. so, we had this really clever idea.. .. .. let's get some light bulbs and make it lighter in here. And that's what we did.. .. it doesn't matter where they were invented (they were invented here anyway) we can still buy them.. .. did you think that nowhere in the rest of the world had light bulbs?? - perhaps that lack of intelligence explains why so many people from the US try to pass other people's ideas off as their own, because they are unable to have the ideas themselves??
OK - now we're not humoring you anymore.. .. a light bulb is something that, say a snowdrop grows from.. .. snowdrops have very small bulbs, so they don't weigh much. Daffodils grow from bulbs too, but they are bigger, so not as light.. .. we have lots of both.. but neither of them were invented.. .. they just occur naturally..
The electric lamp was invented in the UK by swan.. but Thomas Edison managed to get a patent sooner, even though he was slightly behind swan with the invention..
I have a question.. .. why are there so many cars/computers/jet engines in the US when they were invented in other countries?? - see how dumb your question looks now??…
Oh My God. I cannot believe anyone would seriously ask this question though as I find it hard to believe anyone could be that dense, that stupid, that moronic and that arrogant as to assume the rest of the world does not have light bulbs. It is truly staggering in its stupidity. It just shows the level of stupid America works with. ABSOLUTE DUMB STUPID.

Wait, no, Hitler failed to take Britain so hard that he turned around and thought Russia would be an easier target.
The Nazis had already lost the Battle of Britain by the time the USA joined, and were already making plans to retake mainland Europe from the Nazis for the allies. The only thing the USA joining did was allow them to speedrun retaking Europe.
On top of that, the USA was the first to land and last to secure their beaches, despite having the easiest beaches to take.
Add to that the fact that whenever the USA has combat drills with the UK, they regularly lose unless they put heavy restrictions on the UK.
And do you think America could take on the entirety of the rest of NATO and the commonwealth? Because that’s who you’ll be fighting if you attack the UK.
Will America tur on trump ?

What’s wrong with being 14th out of 195 recognised countries? Seems very good to me!
You might also take a look at the 13 countries above us in the rankings: every single one of them also uses universal healthcare! America is somewhere nearer number 38 in the world listings of Health Care so the UK is far superior.
By contrast, the United States performs very poorly on global healthcare rankings. Its own system is a bloated monstrosity that makes the NHS look like a perfect system in comparison. The US spends even more tax money on their government-funded systems e.g. Medicaid, Medicare, and VA (veterans’) healthcare, and yet these have substantially worse outcomes.
And this doesn’t even start on the absolute calamity that is the US private healthcare system, where people pay through the nose for their insurance to then have to pay thousands of dollars in co-pays (why is this even a thing?!) or even outright denied treatment because their insurance provider will find any excuse to not pay out, preserving their profits.
The NHS isn’t a perfect system, and things could be improved, but in the UK literally no one is denied treatment when it’s needed. No one goes bankrupt paying for their own treatment.

I was in a small country pub in the west of England some years ago and was becoming increasingly irritated by a group of American tourists loudly discussing what was wrong (everything, it seems) with England. The houses are too small, the roads are too narrow etc., etc.,. When one of their number, the entire pub was aware by this time that he was a Texan, said “ Hell! Back home we have molehills bigger than the mountains here!”, I lost it and called out “Yeah.right! Everything’s bigger in Texas folks - including mouths and assholes!……

That’s what China did, and the U.S. found all their ports empty and their shop shelves were going bare, remember Trump urgently sent a delegation to Switzerland, to literally plead with China to keep trading with the US, but typically the Us being as they are, started dictating to China telling them what they wanted, the Chinese delegates didn’t say a word, just got up and walked out, the U.S. soon got the message and mellowed and finally talked to them as equals, and they came to an agreement to impose a 10% tax each on the imports, and signed an agreement accordingly, but Trump being Trump tore it up, and said he was going to impose a thirty percent tariff on Chinese goods, so the whole thing was a waste of time anyway, trying to reason with Trump is totally useless, so yes best just ignore the U.S. and partner with the BRICS+ countries, that’s all the world needs, and it looks that’s the the way they are going anyway, there are more and more countries joining up as a partner, seems even European countries are signing up, looks like the more brighter leaders of the world can feel which way the wind is blowing, and it’s definitely heading east instead of west these days,

I could not agree More, just read your thoughts John from 31st August 2025 , this is exactly what is happening to our Country , the trouble is you have a political class who are so detached from reality that they no longer understand the meaning of The words Identity and Patriotism , largely because they no longer mingle with Joe Public , I remember a time when we had such things as public meetings prior to a General Election , Hustings where people exchanged ideas and policies for the years ahead , these people call themselves Democrats , but they are nothing of the sort, they are there to manage Capitalism for Big Business , everything else comes a distant second , I find their lack of concern in knitting our society together very disturbing .
