SCROLL DOWN FOR ANOTHER MEANINGFUL TRUE STORY -

MICHAEL JACKSON / WHITNEY HOUSTON - DIED PENNILESS.

Unfortunately, the large sewing needle she was holding got stuck in her palm at the buttonhole and broke off in the flesh.

A doctor removed the metal fragment, but a few days later Hildegard was weakened by a high fever, due to a serious streptococcal infection that had spread to her entire arm.

ree

The situation worsened hour by hour, to the great anguish of Domagk senior: at the time the prognosis for that type of infection was, sadly, almost always poor.

The bacteria were multiplying relentlessly and there was no medicine capable of stopping their rapacious conquest.

But there was a new chemical compound that perhaps gave some hope.

It was actually an industrial dye, a red pigment that Domagk was testing in his laboratory without letting anyone know.

On December 20 In 1932, he had inoculated two groups of mice with a dose of streptococci ten times the lethal dose.

He had also administered prontosil, the aforementioned dye, to only one of them, ninety minutes after the first injection.

On Christmas Eve, he returned to the laboratory and saw that all the mice in the first group were dead, while all those in the second were alive.

The career of Domagk, until then an obscure biochemist like many others, took a turn.

While he watched over poor Hildegard, he continued to think about prontosil.

This substance, which contains a sulfur atom (an uncommon characteristic in organic molecules), showed unexpected virtues.

The German scientists of the time believed, strangely, that the dyes killed the germs by changing the color of their vital organs; But prontosil, which is lethal to microbes in living organisms, had no effect on those grown in test tubes: the bacteria continued to swim happily in the red culture medium.

No one knew why, and because of this mystery, many colleagues in other countries criticized "German chemotherapy" as a less effective method for treating infections than the more effective surgical demolition.

Domagk was not entirely convinced either.

Between 1932 and 1935, between the experiments with mice and the Hildegard incident, successful clinical trials had been carried out on humans, but the side effects had sometimes proven to be very serious (not to mention the fact that those who took the drug turned red in the face like a lobster).

Domagk had no qualms about risking the lives of test volunteers for the sake of science, but doing it on his daughter's skin was another matter entirely. [...] But as Hildegard grew worse, her father's mind wandered back to that Christmas Eve and those two cages, one filled with hyperactive rodents and the other with many small corpses.

When the doctor treating the girl announced that he would have to amputate her arm, Domagk abandoned all hesitation and, in open violation of every conceivable research protocol, stole a few doses of the drug from the lab and injected the blood-colored liquid into his daughter's body.

At first, Hildegard seemed to get worse.

In the two weeks following the administration, her temperature continued to rise and fall rapidly.

Then one day, exactly three years after her father's experiment with the mice, she stabilized.

It was clear that she had succeeded, and without losing her arm.

Keeping his enthusiasm in check, Domagk did not immediately tell his colleagues the outcome of his clandestine experiment, so as not to influence the results of the official clinical trials that were underway in the meantime.

But such sensational news did not remain secret for long.

The first, true antibacterial was born." Sam Kean.

A TRUE STORY....

A woman went to her mother to complain...:

ree

Mom, I can't stand my husband anymore. I want to kill him. But I'm afraid I'll be arrested. Do you think you can help me?

His mother answers him:

Yes, my daughter, I can. But there is a downside. You will be forced to make peace with him, so that no one doesn't suspect that it was you who killed him when he dies. You'll have to make yourself look good, take care of him. Be kind, grateful, patient, affectionate... less selfish, fairer, more attentive to him... So that no one even suspects you. Will you be able to do it??

Yes, Mom.

Okay, that's good... Here's this powder, every day, you're going to pour a little into his food and he'll die slowly.

After 30 days, the woman returned to her mother:

Mom, I really don't want to kill my husband anymore.

Now I love him, he has changed and become gentler than before. How can I prevent the poison from working? Sorry, help me.

His mother answers him: - Don't worry. What I gave you was flour. He's not going to die. Actually, the poison was in you. When we fuel hatred and resentment, we kills itself slowly. When you began to love and cherish your husband, you saw another person in him,This is how you have to behave for that it is what you are looking for.

Every human being is good, but it is we and society who make them change.

BBC comedian died penniless with body unclaimed for weeks after tragic death

Story by Jess Phillips

ree

An iconic 80s comedian died without a penny to his name and with his body going unclaimed for weeks in a tragic twist of fate.

Roy Jay was best known for his high-profile BBC appearances, popping up on TV programmes including The Bob Monkhouse Show, The Little and Large Show and The Main Attraction at the height of his fame.

It never faile to amaze me - and I do consider it tragic, that so many famous people die penniless and alone after a lifetime of fame and fortune. It's not like they can go and get a job somewhere filling shelves in Tesco... as all those jealous resentful envious vile people out there will take the piss and be horrible to them.

John Cleethes doing all sorts of crap work now as his divorce cost him dearly and he was forced back to work, but as the ' comedy genius' is old and the flame of brilliance is now just a spark, it is sad to watch him these days.

Judy Garland - Sammy Davis Jnr. - Micky Rooney - Marvin Gay - Michael Jackson - Whitney Houston - Andy Gibb - Florence Ballard ( The Supremes ) - Harry Nilsson - Omar Sharif - Billie Holiday - Bela Lugosi - Oscar Wild - tragically for numerous resons ranging from tax to drugs - divorces to lost careers - all these stars died with nothing. The fact that some made millions AFTER they died by the estate re releasing a lot of the old work which fans snapped up and like Michael Jackson who was around $500 million in debt - has earned more than $ 2 BILLION since his death. Not a lot of use to Michael but his heirs will benefit hugely.

John Bellamy Adds:-

ree

My own multi millionaire lover back when I lived in the USA - early - middle '80's, died around 2018 broke, nothing, not a dime to his name, borrowing from all his friends, living in a room a friend had given for free in his house and he had - absolutely nothing at all. I had teased him once when we were together that he would never know what it is to be poor, only without funds - yet 30 years later he was to experence just that - stone cold broke. Crystal meths has something to do with it - and how he could never stop showing off about his wealth all the time, - and how everything had to be FIRST CLASS, which was nice, but not necessary as I am quite happy with a Burger King it does not have to be some Michellin Star restaurant all the time. He was more impressed with his own wealth than I was, as I appreciated what we had, but was never complacent or neuvo riche.

hwe ept it from me though, and it was 18 months AFTER he died I found out he was dead through Facebook and then that he was broke fir the last 8 years wh=ile still bullshitting me about how rich he was, how he was travelling hereand there when thetruth was - he was forced to take a bus anywhere.

We had had 3 cars, one in Bostom - ( east coast ) one in Denver ( the middle ) and one in San Francisco ( west coast ) and now here he was, taking public transport. How degrading for him and how tragic.

Loosing everything must have been hard for someone who had always had money. John Bellamy
