I AM 74 AND I ADOPTED A GERMAN SHEPHERD WHOSE OWNERS WANTED TO EUTHINIZE HIM.
When my son called me about Hunter, my heart broke. A young couple had brought this beautiful 3-year-old German Shepherd to the shelter, asking to have him euthanized because they were moving and couldn’t “handle a big dog anymore.” A dog they had fostered since he was a puppy — they just tossed him aside like he didn’t matter.
The shelter refused, of course, and kept him, but when I heard the story, I couldn’t stop thinking about him.I told my son I wanted to adopt Hunter, but he was hesitant. “Mom, he’s a big dog — what if he’s too much for you?” he said. But I’ve had big dogs before, and I know how to handle them.
Plus, when I met Hunter, I saw right away that he’s a gentle, obedient soul. I brought him home that day. Now, Hunter follows me everywhere, curls up at my feet, and watches over me like he knows I saved him. It's hard to imagine anyone seeing him as a burden. He's my family now, and I'll never let him go.
Ernest Borgnine once shared a story about Frank Sinatra that shows what kind of man he really was.
He said, “You know what Frank did once? Remember the actor Lee J. Cobb? He had a heart attack and was in the hospital. One day, an ambulance showed up and took him away. Lee asked, ‘Where are you taking me?’ The people just said, ‘Don’t worry about it.’ He said, ‘But I have to pay for this.’ They told him, ‘It’s already taken care of.’”
They took him to Palm Springs and brought him to Frank Sinatra’s private place. A little while later, Frank showed up, and Lee looked at him and said, “Why? Why would you do this for me?”
And Frank simply said, “I like the way you act.”
Lee J. Cobb later talked about that time too. He said after his heart attack in the summer of 1955, Frank stepped in and helped him in a big way. Cobb was feeling really low — he was divorced, alone, and thought his acting career was over. But Frank didn’t give up on him. He sent books, flowers, and all kinds of special treats. More than that, Frank kept telling him he still had great acting ahead of him.
Frank made sure Cobb didn’t have to worry about anything — he gave him peace and support when he needed it most.
Years later, Frank asked Cobb to be in his movie Come Blow Your Horn.

9) He told people to inject disinfectant to clean out covid.
10) Renaming the Dept. of Defence - The Dept. of War.
Do most countries consider Trump to be a buffoon? I think the answer to that is YES - a big FAT YES.

Today, I was standing in line at the post office when a middle-aged worker helping us turned to me and said,
"Do you mind if I ask you a question?"
I quickly guessed he was probably going to ask about my birthmark (because that’s what most strangers ask me).
I smiled and said, “Sure.”
Instead of asking me a question, he surprised me by saying, "My daughter has the same birthmark as you. And my niece has one too. I know people can be unkind about birthmarks like yours, but just ignore them. You are beautiful."
I was really touched.
No matter how wealthy, why do these matriarchs
always look much the same, hair,clothes, makeup,

Gary and I play Scrabble each week and he gets pissed because I keep winning
- well - in my dreams I win but in practice, he wins and I do point out,
it's just a game.
