So it seems the male penis and balls have caused quite a stir in the fashion world for a long time and the thought that Good Old Henry VIII started this fashion - but probably because he was so riddled with Syphilis and other serious illnesses that in all probability, the codpiece was designed to keep fabric clear of the groin because of severe pain from boils etc. That doesn't send such a sexy picture to your head - a man with such a large tool he needed special under/ over wear - or a man riddled with Pox and blisters etc,. hiding his damaged tool from view.
