How to tell an American from a Brit.

Tell a joke about Trump.

Nine people will laugh. One will either get angry, or look extremely embarrassed; that’s the American.

Serve them tea. All ten will drink it, but one will start convulsing and might go into cardiac arrest. That’s the American.

Serve them beer. Nine people will drink it, the tenth will ask for a spoon to eat it with and will wonder why it is room temperature and not served ice cold. That’s the American.

Tell a joke about Americans. Nine people will laugh. One will not get it; that’s the American. (OK that was mean; I didn’t intend to play on the stereotype of stupid, I just meant that the American would likely be unaware of the differences between the US and the rest of the world, and hence not get the joke.) Plus the American humour is very basic and childish compared to other countries ike the UK.

Divide them in two teams and ask them to play football. One of them will wrestle someone to the ground. That’s the American.

Serve them lobster. All ten will eat it, but one will ask for ketchup. That’s the American.

Tell them that you will be driving them to the next country to see a famous sight. All ten will pack a bag, but only one will get a sleeping bag. That’s the American.

Ask them to pay the bill. Nine will get out their credit cards or smartphones. One will write a check. That’s the American.

( The UK doesn't use checks any more while the USA - somewhat backward - still does )

Ask them how tall they are. Nine will give you the number of centimetres. One will give you the number of furlongs, or some other arcane unit. That’s the American.

Ask them when they last changed the password to their online bank. Only one will remember that online banks once relied on passwords. That’s the American.

Ask them where Paris is and one will say Texas. That's the American.

Tell a joke full of irony and pathos and one will look gormless and not get it at all while the others will be rolling on the floor in laughter. The gormless one is the American. They don't do irony and pathos. Too grown up for them.

Ask them where the Panama Canal is and the one who says he doesn't know, is the American.

Likewise - Ask where the Great Wall of China is, and the American will not know.

Ask the time on a clock with roman numerals and - the American will not be able to tell the time.

While this is steriotyping and picking the dumbest of the dumb, sadly - they are the dumb ones who voted for Trump and continue to support him and his fascist values.

So my apologies to the decent folk of the USA as after 5 years living there, I met so many wonderful - truly wonderful - people who are now all being hurt by t-rump and who are ashamed of their countries current standing in the world as we do not look at America with respect any more, but with gross dislike and pity, - and repulsion and - sadly - we laugh at you and how you have destroyed your own country and pity the future for American business as the world turns its back and takes its business elsewhere and not only that - but dealing will now discontinue to be dominated by the $.

ntry.

------------------------------------

So why pick on the Americans :-

Because for decades they marched around this planet as tourists and business people and as so called Peace Keepers and the arrogance and patronising attitude offered where they considered the USA to be the most superior and bestest ( thanks trump ) country in the world, WHEN IT QUITE SIMPLY - IS NOT.

AND - BECAUE THEY VOTED TRUMP IN - TWICE - AND STUPID IS ONE EXCUSE - DOING IT TWICE - DUMB DUMB DUMB. and then don't wonder why the whole world is laughing at you - doing anything and everything to pull away from any commerce or trade deals with you because you have a flim flam man as a President who changes his mind like the wind changes direction and no one - NO ONE - can trust him or the USA every again and this time YOU DID IT ALL TO YOURSELVES.

SO LITTLE TO NO SYMPATHY for all the failing business's, Little to no sympathy for the poor who are now going without - Little to no sympathy for the farmers who voted for exactly what they got and then complain they are being forced into bankrupcy by Trumps rhetoric.

I appreciate millions are suffering - just as millions voted for Hitler and ended up in Concentration Camps or some other

horrendous ending - and all from a man they voted for - just as America voted the 21st century version of Hitler - with Trump - the dictator who gets into bed with Russia, North Korea and any dictator he warms to and does NOT support Eurpe, the USA or anything other than to steal, manipulate, and con his way into global power like some - or so he thinks - God figure - and rather some smelly shitty assed fat cunt who is a spoiled brat who no one has ever said no to and he feels entitled to just walk over anyone and everyone and where it is all about the grandiose of Trump the Magnificient. We are fucked here in the UK as well - everyone is - but largely - but not completely - BECAUSE OF TRUMP SCREWING UP THE GLOBAL ECONOMY AND THREATENING EVERYONE AND THEN EXPECTING US TO BACK HIM IN AN ILLEGAL AND IMMORAL WAR - AND WHEN WE DON'T HE INSULTS US SOME MORE WHILE STILL EXPECTING US TO BACK HIM UP AND STILL ASSUMING WE ADORE AND RESPECT HIM AND HOW HE IS THE MOST LOVED AND RESPECTED MAN TO HAVE EVER LIVED - and this man is a complete dolt, a moron, a spoiled cunt of a man and incompetant in business and is sooooo unworthy it aint possible.

No wonder the world laughs at Trump when he puts memes like this out there as if he was some supreme god head rather than a cunt with a shitty ass... I think he means ONE NATION UNDER TRUMP.

What a fuck up, I mean really, what a big smelly fuck up.

The United States leads the world in economic output and military spending, but trails many developed peers in health and social metrics.

Economic and Military Strength

  • Gross Domestic Product (GDP): The U.S. has the largest economy in the world, with a GDP of roughly $30 trillion—significantly larger than China and multiple times larger than other wealthy nations.

  • Military Power: The U.S. spends more on its military than any other country, and large majorities of Americans view it as the world's top military power.

  • Innovation and Income: The country scores very high in average individual income, R&D spending, and high-tech exports.

Health and Social Challenges

  • Economic Inequality: The U.S. has the highest level of income inequality among developed nations, with a large gap between the richest top 1% and the rest of the population. [1]

  • Gun Violence and Crime: The U.S. has a drastically higher firearm homicide rate than other wealthy, industrialized peer nations. [1]

  • Health Outcomes: Measures such as life expectancy and child mortality rank poorly in the U.S. compared to Western European countries and other developed peers. [1]

Global Perception

  • Reputation: The U.S. ranks around 5th overall in global "best countries" lists.

  • Public Opinion: Views of the U.S. vary widely; citizens in emerging economies often view the U.S. very favorably, while favorability in traditional Western allied nations is more mixed.

As of 2023, the United States ranked 53 out of 193 countries ordered from lowest to highest infant mortality rate.[11] As of 2020, the US ranked 65th out of 185 countries ranked by lowest maternal mortality rate.[12]

Among wealthy nations, a study on 2016 data found the United States ranked first for child deaths by automobile accident and firearm, with overall child mortality 57% higher in the U.S. than other high-income countries, although traffic deaths were decreasing.[13]

As of 2017, the United States life expectancy is 79.8 years at birth, ranking 42nd among 224 nations

You make, and take, from the news that which you wish to see and hear. You observe what you want and comment of things that affect you personally. If you don't like something, do not read it and move on but do not shy away from what IS going on in the world of which - you are a part. World news is so easy to find these days and differing opinions not hard to find. Having an opinion is vital and being a ' don't care' person helps no one. So open your mind - open your heart - open your awareness and ALWAYS be open to new ideas.
