An Indiana Baptist church is under fire for telling LGBTQ+ people to kill themselves, just as Christ would have done.

Sure Foundation Baptist Church in Indianapolis caused an uproar after a sermon in which church member Stephen Falco recommended LGBTQ+ commit suicide—and if they don't, the Trump Administration should execute them.

Isn't this HATE SPEECH and illegal, but because they are a church, they get away with it. This is evil, this is wrong, this is unenlightened and this is DEFINATELY not what Jesus taught or what the bible says at all.

'Love thy neighbour as thyself' is what Jesus preached.

Not 'Love thy neighbout ONLY if he is agood Christian, white, straight, pays his taxes, isn't anything but a nice white boy...' who may beat up on his wife and kids, be an aduterer, rapist, thief and generally awful person but according to this church, being born LGBT is far worse.

Community rallies in protest after local church calls for killing LGBTQ+ people

The protestors held signs that said, "Trans rights are human rights," "Stop the hate," and "True Christians preach love."

Faith leaders in Indianapolis organized a march this past Sunday in protest of a local church that made national headlines for calling for death to LGBTQ+ people.

One of the protest’s co-organizers said that the message is that LGBTQ+ people exist, no matter what the church says. “Existing in their presence… is something they do not believe Christ would approve of,” co-organizer Cass Jackson told IndyStar.

JB COMMENTS: This is exactly why so many people are turning away from the church, with outdated and dangerous rhetoric like this above.

Admittedly, this is a very small church and has no real power as its congregation is barely in double figures and everything that comes out of this mans mouth is villified by everyone, yet it still hits the headlines and fills column inches in the news media.
