Jupiter stations direct in Sidereal Gemini today, showing more clarity about what must be done, with whatever information you have to hand at this point. Though Jupiter is not at home in Gemini, its station brings strength, as clear thinking can guide your decisions more readily. Once you acknowledge the relationship between Jupiter and the ruler of Gemini, Mercury, you can at least understand the process that sometimes works; that is, the ability to articulate a deeper intuition. Though Jupiter is not so enamoured with Mercury, his adopted son, Mercury can benefit from the wise counsel, especially now that it’s retrograde. Jupiter’s aspect on Aquarius and the pile-up of planets there help to guide you at this tense time.  But let us not be naive, Jupiter is out of its comfort zone in Gemini. Mental noise can often drown out the truth. If you can tune out of it and be still, you will know what or who to believe. If you’re engaging more with media, social or otherwise, you’re likely to be led astray. There is good news on the horizon: Jupiter’s station in Gemini marks its eventual exit from the sign by June 1. We’re heading for exaltation, a more elevated vantagepoint, as Jupiter turns around in March, even if you have more confusing data to sift through. The next few months are likely to feel like there’s a need to come to some decisions about some details that may have thus far eluded you. Whatever Gemini represents for you personally, it’s a time to gather all the data and make your best guess. And that’s got to count for something. In the end, there are no mistakes or missteps, only bigger life lessons when you can take a step back.  Jupiter’s slowdown allows you to slow down and assess what information you have thus far gathered; to pause for reflection before making a decision, even if it’s only made silently within. The next few months of Jupiter’s transit and exit from Gemini may eventually lead to speaking what has been discerned. If something doesn’t feel right in your mouth – if the words themselves don’t seem to reflect what is true – that itself is teaching you something about what is. Be open to changing what you think and say about whatever this area of your life is, as Jupiter stops moving back and slowly returns to direct motion. Use this turnaround to plan something more meaningful in your life, especially as Jupiter enters Cancer by June. Look at the house position from your ascendant and Moon. For me, this is my 9th house, related to publishing, and Jupiter rules my 5th house of creativity. I’m currently putting the finishing touches to the second edition of Daśā Vidyā, an altogether more comprehensive book about Indian astrology timing techniques, and a much clearer edition. I’ve used the time to reflect on and review my approach, fine-tuning the content. I look forward to sharing it with you once it’s published. But I’ll wait until Jupiter gets into Cancer from June for that!
