Why do people find Robert F. Kennedy's final words so poignant and memorable? and what is the bigest difference between Kennedy and Trump.
Robert F. Kennedy was shot and killed by a Palestinian immigrant.
Kennedy was shot in the back of the head, one bullet entered his spine near his neck, another excited his chest. It was a fatal wound, but he was fully aware of what had happened, at first. He looked around to the people near him and asked them: “Is everybody okay?”
Busboy Juan Romero, the last person Kennedy shook hands with before he was shot, told the dying senator: “Yes, everybody is okay.” After which Kennedy answered: “Everything’s going to be okay…”
Those were his last words — he soon closed his eyes and went into a coma.
They operated on him for many hours but his condition failed to improve — he died 25 hours after being shot.
Sirhan Sirhan was captured on the scene and later sentence to life in prison; he said he killed the would-be president because of his “support for Israel”.
The fact that Robert F. Kennedy dedicated his final words to the people around him, making sure everyone was okay even as he lay dying, is very telling of the sort of man he was. It takes a special type of courage to think first of others before yourself even in your last moments.
Compare that with Trump, who doesn't give a flying fuck for soldiers killed under his command, - he just sees them as ' loosers.' Trump doesn't give a damn about people dying from Covid - Doesn't think twice before mocking the handicapped. He doesn't loose any sleep over how he is destroying millions of lives by wrecking the economy;- or how he has started wars which kill and maim but - as long as the prize real estate is available to him at the end of it all, he doen't give a fuck how he gains control of what he hopes is a billion $ deal for his corrupt business empire.
Trump doesn't give a fuck for America or its people. Trump doesn't give a fuck for the planet, global warming, oil crisis, the environment or anything at all as all he cares about - NOT EVEN HIS OWN FAMILY AS HE WOULD SHOVE THEM UNDER A BUS IF IT MEANT SAVING HIMSELF - all he cares about - is MONEY, POWER AND HIMSELF AS THE GLOBAL SUPREME LEADER - THE SUPERMAN EVERYONE ADMIRES and instead, other than a small handful of MAGA's, most the entire planet hates this fat orange ego driven, Hitler inspired - turd.
