The iconic 18th century Pulteney Bridge across the River Avon is one of the most recognisable landmarks in Bath and one that millions of tourists flock to the city every year to see. But the lucky owners of houseboats have been able to live right next to the picturesque setting for years. And those who call the area home do not pay to moor at the site as there is 'free navigation' - but some did say they would be willing to pay to stay.

Andrew has just been humiliated again - he should be chucked out of Britain

On the outskirts of the sprawling city of Paris stands Villa Windsor - a glamorous house surrounded by a large garden and trees. It used to be the home of a former King of England - Edward VIII, known as the Duke of Windsor after he abdicated the throne in 1936 - until his death in 1972. The property is a reminder that the monarchy is not immune to turmoil.
Every time the monarchy encountered a major crisis afterwards, it was compared to the fateful moment when the immensely popular former Prince of Wales renounced the throne to marry American divorcee, Wallis Simpson.
Donald Trump: “All of those countries that can’t get jet fuel because of the Strait of Hormuz, like the United Kingdom, which refused to get involved in the decapitation of Iran, I have a suggestion for you…
Translation: I started this war against Iran, I am losing and getting beaten and I don't know how to end it. Now you can't get fuel.
MAGA hate preacher says smoking marijuana makes men “spiritually gay”

He’s not the first religious zealot to make this sort of claim.
Christian nationalist hate pastor Joel Webbon — a man who blames Jewish people for everything he hates and thinks maybe Adolf Hitler wasn’t so bad after all — said in a May 30 X video that Christian men should smoke tobacco to help restore the nation because marijuana makes men “spiritually gay.”
Trump furiously demands judge who blocked renovation project be criminally charged

President Donald Trump erupted Saturday in a 720-plus-word social media post over a judge’s ruling ordering him to remove his name from the Kennedy Center and halt a renovation project, a rant that culminated with the president demanding the judge be criminally charged.
Vladimir Putin has started ranting again. His latest diatribes were directed against Finland and Armenia. He accused Finland of joining NATO without any provocation, he stated that Russia will have to intervene in Armenia because Armenia just like Ukraine 🇺🇦 has began to join the EU. According to him Finland is looking for an opportunity to invade Russia!
Let us remember that Putin said he invaded Ukraine 🇺🇦 because of NATO and poor Russians being killed by Ukrainians in Donbas.
Now he has let the truth slip that it was Ukraine's earnest desires to join the EU that brought about his imperial actions since then onwards.
36 Republicans vote against law banning child marriages. Some cited the Bible as justification.
Some of them also oppose same-sex marriages.

Thirty-six Republican House legislators in Oklahoma recently voted against S.B. 504, a ban on child marriage, with some citing the Bible or “family values” as their justifications.
The measure passed the state House in a 51-36 vote (after passing unanimously in the state Senate) and became law on May 13, without Republican Gov. Kevin Stitt’s signature — though his office didn’t explain his refusal to sign it. The law establishes 18 as the earliest age at which one can marry in the state.

Muslim Groups in Britain Issue Warning as pressure grows to tackle grooming gangs, parallel societies, integration failures and rising extremism, some Muslim voices in the UK are now threatening:

"We might leave the UK." Instead of committing to British values, they're treating Britain like a hotel — happy to enjoy benefits, welfare, and freedoms... but ready to walk away the moment any demands (halal, Sharia courts, no criticism of Islam) are challenged.
If they're so quick to threaten to leave, why were they here in the first place?
PLEASE GO.
