Former Mr. Gay UK sentenced for slaying & cooking his male partner
The judge called the case the most gruesome he has ever seen.
Anthony Morley, who became the first-ever winner of the Mr. Gay UK male beauty pageant in 1993, has been sentenced to 30 years imprisonment for the October 2008 slaying, dismembering, and eating of Damian Oldfield’s remains. The presiding Judge James Stewart called the case one of the most gruesome he has ever encountered.

Thames Water refuses to claw back bonuses paid using £3bn emergency loan.

Thames Water paid almost £2.5m to senior managers from an emergency loan that was meant to be used to keep the failing utilities company afloat – and has refused to claw back the payments, newly released documents reveal.
The struggling water supplier paid bonuses totalling £2.46m to 21 managers on 30 April.
The managers are due to receive the same amount again in December, and a further £10.8m collectively next June, the chair of Thames Water, Sir Adrian Montague, said in a letter to the environment select committee.
If ever there was a company who paid itself from monies - FROM US - to prop a company up that is in financial distress - and management pays itself MILLIONS - for FAILURE - which is surely FRAUD / THEFT OF PUBLIC MONEY - this has to be it.

In a massive show of joy and resistance on Saturday, tens of thousands of marchers choked the streets of Budapest to attend a renamed Budapest Pride Freedom parade, in defiance of the national government’s ban on Pride events.
“We believe there are 180,000 to 200,000 people attending,” the president of Budapest Pride, Viktória Radványi, told AFP. “It is hard to estimate because there have never been so many people at Budapest Pride.”
