Yes, anybody with an education is aware of that. Which begs the question: Why do so many Americans not know that the UK - and indeed, any other sovereign country in the world - has the legal right to ban them (Americans) from entering their country?
When I worked as a UK Immigration Officer, the cry “But you can’t deny me entry, I’m an American citizen!” was one of the commonest we heard as yet another ignorant bag of arrogance was marched back to the aircraft on which they had arrived.

Tariffs affect cost of goods going into building planes. Canadian aluminum is not made from recycled tins so higher quality. Dumb Donnie the orange felon idiot if a president levied 50 per cent tariff on that. Now Boeing could use the inferior aluminum but safety might be there so they use higher costing material raising cost of planes. Airbus being in Europe sees Canada needs market for their high quality green aluminum and buys it and same products is Fifty percent cheaper given no tariffs making their planes cheaper.

The story keeps changing……It doesn’t exist, it’s a hoax, it’s fake news, it exists but the signature is fake. They used the Autopen to fool experts. What? Who did? The Epstein estate did? It was years and years ago. It was before Epsteins behaviour became public. Trump was a Democrat then, can you believe that. And someone forged that letter with the intention of making a case against a future Republican president? And waited for Trump to be president to use an autopen to sign it? It’s really getting completely ludicrous.
Trump swings from calling it a dead issue, to denying it again. All the idiot had to do is admit he sent a bawdy greeting to a good friend, and say it’s not illegal. It would have been better to do that instead of these convoluted lies.he could still deny being involved with Epsteins crimes, though other letters in that book seem to indicate he is guiltier than hell.
People who say it’s not how he signs his documents should remember Epstein was a friend. Of course he would sign it “Donald”..not “Donald Trump.”
No matter what the blowhard says…..the Epstein files are not going away.

The self professed modern Moses, charged by God to do His will, via midnight chats with God, has said Trump knows it wasn’t a hoax, he kicked out Epstein when he heard what Epstein was doing, and was a secret informant for the FBI!!! THINK ABOUT THAT ONE. Trump is a secret FBI informant……WHAT?

I don't remember Joe Biden having to go to court because he payed off a sex worker to not talk about the fact that he cheated on his wife with her.
I don't remember Biden trying to initiate an attempted coup against the incoming government.
I don't remember Biden receiving four separate indictments totalling 80 felony charges and geological time hanging over his head.
I don't remember Biden being convicted of 34 felonies, or any felonies at all.
I don't remember Biden sitting on his hands as a pandemic reached American shores, and refusing to increase testing protocols because “More testing equals more cases, which makes me look bad" and a pandemic sweeping across the nation unchecked by people that didn't, and couldn't, know that they were sick. I remember the pandemic ending on his watch, because he actually listened to scientists and doctors, rather than cranks.
I don't remember Biden staring directly into the Sun during a solar eclipse with no eye protection.

I don't remember Biden trying to bribe other heads of state for an investigation into a political rival, to whom he later lost (which was Joe Biden).
I don't remember Biden trying to get states to swap out electors to alter the results of a fairly-contested election, claiming that the election was rigged while trying to rig the election himself and being indicted for it.
I don't remember Joe Biden stealing federal classified documents and claiming they are "mine” while hiding them in the shitter from the FBI, a grand jury, and his own attorneys, and then trying to cover up the evidence by flooding the server room of his tawdry estate.
I don't remember Biden thinking he can buy other nations because he looked at a map and said "I want that!”.
I don't remember Biden committing a felony by altering a weather report in the stead of admitting that his predicted track of a hurricane was mistaken, causing people to unnecessarily prepare for a hurricane that never arrived.
I don't remember Biden employing an uneducated and unqualified crank to lead the Department of Health and Human Services who thinks the best way to make people healthy is to stop vaccinating them against preventable injurious and deadly disease.
I don't remember Biden starting a trade war against all of his allies because of a bugbear about trade deficits, which he does not understand, and which cannot be reduced with tariffs. You see, you cannot force the citizens of a nation to buy your products. When you attack their nation with tariffs and a trade war, they are LESS likely to buy your products, not MORE likely.
The reason people are engaged in a combination of laughter and anger at the United States is none other than Donald Jackeroo Trump, who runs his administration like a circus, treats his allies like enemies and kisses the ass of dictators like Putin, who clearly has some SUBSTANTIAL kompromat on Trump. There is not a single person on Earth, inside Russia or without, that is more deferential to Vladimir Putin. This would be hilarious if it wasn't such a serious national security risk.
Like all MAGA deflection, every single accusation by MAGA and Trump against Democrats is a reaction to the obvious failures of the Trump Administration, which they blame on Democrats and is an admission of guilt.
EVERY ACCUSATION IS AN ADMISSION.
Thank you for admitting that Trump has turned our nation, once again, into a laughing stock with his scandals and his policies. Thankfully, you only have to endure criticism for each scandal for a day or two, because the next one will be along shortly. When the list of scandals becomes so long that it can't be printed in a standard news article, they are quickly forgotten in favor of the new ones. Unfortunately, some of us have a long memory.

Trump and the US cannot throw Canada out of the 5 Eyes, because the US are the least powerful country in that arrangement. The other four countries are Commonwealth countries, family and loyal to each other. The US is not and was once an ally but fast becoming the enemy of the rest of the English speaking world.
It is the United States who has openly sided with Russia. The rest of the 5 Eyes Countries have been openly training Ukraine soldiers to fight Russia. The United States has not under Biden or Trump.
The United States can threaten all they want. The other Five Eyes countries are laughing at them because the United States are not really part of the Five Eyes any longer but do not know it yet. There are only Four Eyes who trust each other. The fifth eye is a leech who no longer gets correct intelligence from the other Four Eyes.
Trump threatening to throw Canada out of the Five Eyes will only lead to it becoming public that the US had already been removed except in name.

Hi, I have a degree in history. I specialized in 20th century history. My father fought in WWII. I grew up in Brussels and spoke with a lot of people that were alive during the war when I lived there. I visited East Berlin before the wall came down. I visited other cities in East Germany as well.
I have read most of the major history books from the era.
The notion that the Nazis were socialists did not arise until the 21st century. If it were true, why would it take that long for the idea to be floated? The reason is that everyone who was there knew better and people had to wait for them to die to say something that ridiculous.
German names are often more like marketing ideas than reality. East Germany was called the German Democratic Republic. It was neither democratic nor was it a republic.
The Nazis wanted to attract the lower classes you know like Trump. In that day you had to say the words socialist and workers in your party name to get that done.
It was just another part of the propaganda. Trump and his crowd lies at a level the Nazis could only dream of. German workers were not as ignorant as Trump supporters.

Let’s look at two households: one rich, one poor.
The rich household has a lot of money, so they buy a lot of things—fancy things, luxury items, lots of clothes, shoes, furniture, boats, etc.
The poor household has very little money, so they don’t buy as much. They try to re-use items and make do with what they have.
Now do this with countries. Which countries will buy the most stuff from overseas, and what will poor countries do?
Obviously, the US, being one of the richest countries on earth, likes to buy a lot of stuff: olive oil from Greece, wine from France, sugar from the tropics, chocolate, and coffee and tea, and also televisions and smartphones and clothes and shoes—everything!
And poor countries set up factories to make these things for American consumers, but they are still poor, so they don’t buy much from the US, because. . . they are poor!
And then genius president Trump comes along and says, This is so unfair! This is an imbalance! We will punish those other countries! We will make American consumers pay more for the things they buy! Until poor countries start buying things from us.
Let’s take the country of Lesotho. My niece worked there in the Peace Corps. A country surrounded on all sides by South Africa. Lesotho's per capita GDP was approximately $972 in 2024. Yes—the average person in Lesotho works all year for less money than the average American earns in a week.
American companies set up clothing factories in Lesotho, because the wages paid there were so low. They also happen to produce diamonds. Not that it helps the poor people of that country much.
(btw, Lesotho is in the mountains and it is very cold there.)
Trump announced 50% tariffs on Lesotho, because we buy diamonds and clothes made there, and they don’t buy Ford F-150s at all!
Then he changed his mind (TACO) and reduced the tariffs to 15%. Meaning what? Meaning that when American companies have clothing manufactured in Lesotho, they have to pay 15% more to bring that clothing back into the US. Will that make Lesotho more prosperous, so that they can buy stuff that we make?
No! It caused factories there to shut down! Made them poorer. So of course they can’t buy American stuff!
Now you understand world economics better than the US president.
