Speaking as a Zimbabwean/Rhodesian of British stock. As an American, please remove your arrogant, pompous ego and know your place. The US was a colony of the UK and the United States inherited its love of freedom, liberty, democracy and law from the UK. You should be thanking the UK for the many things you have inherited from them that makes you American. Please learn some history before you make such foolish statements. It is for this reason America loses its friends and cast a negative impression of itself to the rest of the world. Unless America loses its superiority/ego complex, they will find themselves with no friends left.
No because the tariffs are not the problem. This is the part that people don’t seem to get. Canadians are not boycotting American products or refusing to come here for vacation because of tariffs.

He is the reason why Canadians are not coming and not buying American. It’s his comments on Canada becoming the 51st state. It’s his rhetoric about blaming Canada for everything, claiming we don’t need anything from them and then getting angry when Canada flips us the bird.
And this isn’t going to magically go away once he leaves office, dies or drops the tariffs. He’s basically ruined one of the strongest allied partnerships in the world. Trump bears the blame and it’s going to take years before it gets any better. IF it ever gets better as the world turns away from the Bully America and looks elsewhere and the only cuntry that will suffer BADLY in the long run, will be America.

Absolute terrify you as billions of $ are NOT coming through tourism, farming, corporations moving abroad and the world turns its back on American ( shitty ) products and we leave you exactly where you want to be - isolationists. There used to be 100 US bases in the UK, that has been reduced to 13, with only 7 of them fully operational these days.

Hmmm… Troops indicates the full complement of army, navy, air force; the bases are all air force and even if all of the bases closed, our own armed forces wouldn’t have a problem if war broke out tomorrow! Our defence system is second to none, our troops highly trained and so highly trained that they help other countries to learn the art of warfare!
So I think we would manage to fight very well without the US thank you very much…after all, we had managed for 2 years in WWII without their help.

Ireland is definitely independent and has been for more than a century. They can use St Patrick’s cross if they like.
They cannot “take it out of the Union flag”, because being independent they have no rights to the Union flag and don’t get to decide what it looks like. And no, St Patrick’s cross isn’t Irish. Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland - but he was born in present-day England or Wales, he’s probably buried in England, and Ireland doesn’t own him or his symbols. Patrick is also the patron saint of Nigeria, Montserrat, the Archdiocese of New York, the town of Rolla in Missouri, the city of Murcia in Spain, engineers and paralegals. Does St Patrick’s Cross belong to Nigerian engineers? No. And it doesn’t belong to Ireland either.

US Vice President James D Vance’s speech at the February 2025 Munch Security Conference was atrocious. As the current US Vice President, Mr Vance travelled to Europe, says little about Russia’s illegal and violent invasion of its neighbour - Europe’s largest country - Ukraine. Instead, he lectures his European allies about freedom of speech.
VP Vance should get his own political house in order, before he visits us here in European and patronises us about democracy, free speech and shared western values. His boss is a convicted criminal, who spread baseless conspiracy theories about the 2020 US presidential election and pardoned criminals who were involved in the violent January 2021 Washington DC insurrection.
Here in the UK, we had a change of head of state and two changes of government in just two months - back in 2022. All transfers were peaceful and uncontested. The Trump administration’s own first term ended in violence, falsehoods and conspiracy theories.
I am not going to speak on behalf of other Europeans. But I shall not be taking patronising and condescending lectures from the second most senior US politician: James David Vance.

Back in June just 16% of Germans thought the US was a reliable ally, and if the poll were repeated today that figure would be MUCH worse.

In Japan, where talking to strangers is exceptionally rare, the locals approach random Americans to ask, loosely translated, “What the hell is wrong with trump?”

But the most obvious sign of our demise was The Intervention in D.C. where Europeans leaders dropped what they were doing on a day’s notice to form a protective circle around Ukraine’s president Zelensky as he met with trump the Monday after the Friday Surrender Summit in Alaska. Clearly remembering the mugging trump staged the last time our erstwhile ally was in town, their coordinated response sent a very clear message that trump cannot be trusted to act without adult supervision.
The British are shocked at how trump manages to continue evading responsibility for his intimate involvement with the worst pedophile and sex trafficker in our history.
And Venezuela ain’t thrilled about the warships trump sent their way for reasons still unclear. Brings back some bad memories in the region.
The funny thing is, The Biggest Liar tells his band of… let’s call them uninformed supporters that “America is respected again.
That’s literally the opposite of the truth. The America Era is over. And it was killed by Donald J. Trump.
Cause you suck.

With all of the promises he made* and broke, and the hypocritical pledges* to save America money while ordering Air Force One gassed and ready so he could hit the Super Bowl, Daytona 500, MMS fights and golfing in Scotland and mara-lardo…

Trump asks for the Nobel Peace prize. How humiliating. He phones the Norwegian foreign minister to talk about Tariffs, but then remarks that he wants the Nobel peace prize.
What conclusion do we draw from that? A call about Tariffs suddenly bringing up the Peace prize. Extortion at its most obvious. The thing is, Norway does not pay the tariffs…he still just doesn’t get that, so he is extorting American importers to try to get a peace prize.
I hope that Norway tells him to go to hell.
It’s interesting that African nations, and also Netanyahu have discovered that all they need to do to have Trump simper like a schoolgirl, and have him eating out of their hands, is to tell him he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize. The whole world realises that, but Trump believes they are being genuine.
