What freedoms are you talking about?
When I was last in the USA a lady bar tender asked me what it was like to visit a free country?
I asked her what freedom did she have in the USA that she wouldn't have in the UK?
She was completely stumped.
Ironically she asked this question just after she demanded to see to my passport before she would serve me a drink. I was very obviously I my late twenties at the time!
To say that USA citizens have been brainwashed to belive that they live in a free country is massive understatement!
Many Americns do not understand that most of the entire world is FREE, and have DEMOCRACIES and live independant lives just as many Americans do. Many assume the world either to be communist or under the control and laws of the USA. They see black and white and no gray in between.
Really very dumb.

Donald Trump is the subject of a never-ending tsunami of criticism and mocking, and most of his plans have been frustrated again and again. As a personality, he is poorly equipped to deal with these things.
There are two possible reactions to such a situation: Anger and/or depression. We know he feels the first. He probably feels the second as well. And he’s in a closed room with no face-saving exit. All he can do is resign, or be impeached. And either one of these would destroy his self-image.
Or maybe it is because as such a man child, he has never had anyone talk back to him, argue back, tell him to shut up and behave, never had a parent / guardian figure from childhood telling him the rules of life. He was born and raised to be an asshole through and through and he seriously believes everyone, EVERYONE - is below him.
SHOCK IN ALASKA
David Pakman comments on a shock in Alaska. No, the biggest shock was not that a democrat candidate beat a Republican. The biggest shock was that this Republican didn’t talk about election fraud….he didn’t talk about rigged votes, he didn’t say voting machines were compromised…..he merely conceded the race, congratulated his opponent and wished her well.
This is how people used to behave in elections. This is how people still behave here in Nz. I hope it stays that way, here.
Until Trump arrived on the political scene, I think mostly people behaved like that in USA also. Am I wrong?
Or, is Donald Trump just a spoiled brat who always wants to get his own way and then throws an almighty hissy fot when it doesn't go his own way. After decAdes of business failures, bankrupsies and even a shit marriage, you'd think he'd be use to the fact that even his wife has to be paid to be in the same room as he and that the world sees him as nothing more than a failed business man, a bully and a con atist. Billions know this, how come he seems the last to know ?
