An assassin who charges 10 grand per bullet was enjoying a few drinks at his local drinking hall when a man approached him.
"Are you the assassin who charges 10 grand per bullet?", the man asked.
"Yes, I am", says the assassin.
"Good, good, good, good. Okay, my wife's cheating on me. I know where they're staying. I've got 20 grand. Let's go."
They drive to the convenience store across the road from a hotel and climb onto the roof. The man points to a window and says,
"They're in that room. Now, here's what I want you to do. I want you to shoot her in the head and I want you to shoot him in the d|ck." -
"You got it," says the assassin.
He proceeds to set up his sniper rifle with scope. Gets into position and points the weapon at the indicated window. He sits there, not doing anything for a while.
Finally, the man says, "Well, are you going to do it or not?" -
"Patience, my friend, patience," the assassin replies. "I might be able to save you 10 grand."

That’s just it, he does, and so does the rest of his cult, so much so that it burrowed deep under their skin.
Some of them were hoping that the No Kings protests that were taking place nationwide and internationally on Saturday would degenerate into violence. Little lyin’ Mickey Johnson even dubbed these rallies as "Hate America rallies", a term that other Republicans have swiftly adopted.
Their tone was pathetic. trump made a concerted effort to portray anyone who stands in the way of his autocratic consolidation of power as an enemy, a despised non-American devoid of morality, shared values, or legal protection.
KKKaroline Leavitt even told Fox News: “The Democrat party’s main constituency are made up of Hamas terrorists, illegal aliens, and violent criminals.”
Regardless of how much the trump administration seems to despise the American people, the No Kings demonstrations that drew millions upon millions to the streets on Saturday indicate that the public despises them even more.
The No Kings protest set the largest protest in history, and it made trump furious.
Steven Cheung, not surprisingly called the protests “a complete and utter failure with minuscule attendance”
And when the marches had mostly dispersed and the millions of people who had come to protest trump had gone home, he posted an AI-generated video of himself on Truth Social on Saturday night.
trump, donning a crown, flies a fighter plane over the No Kings demonstrations and sprays faeces on the demonstrators in the AI cartoon.
It was a petty, irritable outburst of disdain, the sort of conduct that would be disciplined in a child but has become the norm for the US president. Clearly, he wants Americans to know how much he despises them.
It's a reciprocal feeling.

Like, you what! No! I am from England. Born in England, live in England, speak English. When I was in the States I was forced to change a few words and expressions. They had a big problem with water, until I pronounced it “wadder” I mentioned a queue and was told “Oh you means kudos”. So the question should be “will America ever speak proper English?”
San Francisco: “Gee, your English is very good, where are you from?”
England.
“Oh, and what language do they speak in your country?”
Some Americans are the dumbest of dumb.
We in England, have no problem if you want to mess around with our language,
but don't you dare to tell English people how to speak English.

To the person who left their dog on the side of the road near highway 33—this is what I want to say.
You pulled off the 401 ramp, stopped briefly at a stop sign on Wooler Road, and left a beautiful dog behind. You put not only his life at risk but the safety of everyone driving that highway, including my daughter’s.
Despite your choice, many people stopped to help this scared dog, but it was my daughter who finally coaxed him out from under a car where he was hiding. He was shaken, frightened—understandably so.
What’s important now is that this dog found someone who cares deeply. He’s attached to my daughter, a kind-hearted person who showed him love when he needed it most.
This post is not to find or shame the person who abandoned him. They don’t deserve to care for this dog or any animal. Instead, it’s a reminder that even after cruelty and neglect, an animal’s spirit can remain strong.
This dog knows he can be loved. He knows there are better people out there.

In a quiet forest in Florida, a man stumbled upon a heartbreaking sight — a young pit bull puppy, only eight months old, sitting frozen on a dog bed, surrounded by an unopened bag of food and a few toys. The pup, later named Hank, didn’t move an inch. He didn’t bark, wag his tail, or even flinch — he just sat there, silent and shattered like a living statue.
It seemed Hank had been abandoned by someone who perhaps tried to ease their guilt by leaving behind his belongings. But with no way to open the food bag and no way to survive alone, it was clear the dog was left to suffer.
The man didn’t move Hank, fearing further harm. Instead, he called a local animal shelter for help. Two weeks after being dumped, Hank was finally rescued. To everyone’s relief, he responded gently and sweetly to the rescuers, showing only love and gratitude despite his trauma.
At the vet, it was discovered why Hank hadn’t moved at all — his leg was broken, likely before he was even abandoned. Malnourished and weak, he wasn’t ready for surgery, so the shelter staff focused on nursing him back to health first.
Under the care of Humans and Animals United, Hank slowly began to heal, physically and emotionally. He received all the love he deserved — cuddles, attention, and medical care. Once strong enough, he underwent surgery, and today, Hank is recovering happily in a foster home.
While many have already shown interest in adopting him, the rescue team is taking things slow. They want Hank to fully recover, ensuring that the next chapter of his life is filled only with kindness, safety, and love.
As his rescuer Rosa Fond said:
> “He’s safe now, and he’ll never, ever be hurt again.”
