If and when you feel stressed, cannot cope, it is all becoming too much for you, Here are a couple of easy ways to help.

1) - Attend Hamilton Hall's BURN OUT WEEKEND.

2) - The Brahma Kumaris - is the worlds largest spiritual organisation and everything they do is for free.

Now: A couple of times a day, in - say - one of their retreats - music starts to play throughout the building - very soft and gentle music. and as soon as you hear it, you stop what you are doing- you switch it off - you take it out - you put it down, and you yourself just STOP, close your eyes and for 3 minutes - JUST 3 MINUTES WHILE THE MUSIC IS PLAYING, you close your eyes, take a few deep breaths and just FOCUS ON THE MOMENT - the stillness, your In and Out breath, and for 3 minutes you stay like this, and when the music ends, you go back to what you were doing. This is because we are HUMAN BEINGS - NOT HUMAN DOINGS and we need a couple of times a day to just STOP AND BE A HUMAN BEING, NOT A HUMAN DOING.....

ANY TIME you feel stressed or anxious, just take yourself off somewhere private and spend - just a couple of minutes, breathing deeply IN and OUT with no stopping between the In and the Out, like as if you were jogging. Sit and just breath. Deeply. After a couple of minutes, just breath normally and feel the tension fall away.

Before I go to bed at night, at the bedroom window I spend 5 minutes breathing like this, and it just clears out the clutter, the flotsum of the day and clears my mind ready for sleep.

Some nights I am awake at 3am and I CANNOT get back to sleep, my mind is far too busy, this breathing can help - OR - get up and watch some YouTube for half and hour, read a book - do something to occupy your mind that seems awake and unable to sleep and before long, you will fall asleep in front of the telly or the book...

NIGHT TIME ROUTINE

Every night before I go to bed I do some breath work at my bedroom windows. Just 5 minutes while saying goodnight to the day, I take just 20 deep breaths - fast - in and out through the mouth and on the 20th I breath out, and hold it out for at least 30 seconds. Then I breath again, taking 20 more deep breaths in and out and again, hold it out on the last breath. Moments later when I go to bed, my mind is clear and I feel more relaxed in my mind, body and soul. And if you are a smoker, breath out - COMPLETELY - as far as you can - OUT OUT OUT and end the out breath with 3 coughs... and then THROUGH THE NOSE beath in as normal and relax.

A 4-year-old child was playing on the farm in an empty ground. Suddenly, he was mesmerized by something, as he noticed danger approaching him slowly.

A bull, which had broken loose from its chain, was running directly towards the child. Everything could have ended in a second. But before it could reach him, a cow came forward.

It quickly positioned itself between the bull and the child, using its body to protect him. The child crawled under the cow for safety, and the cow stayed firm, not moving from that spot, focused solely on protecting the child.

The cow did not retreat until the danger passed. The terrified child eventually got up and ran to his father, crying and sharing what had happened.

Initially, the father did not believe him until he reviewed the CCTV footage. He saw everything with his own eyes. It wasn't just instinct; it was an act of bravery. Animals have feelings and care deeply, just as we do.

PRAISE JESUS FOR GRINDR

THE DEAD DONKEY:…

A boy named Lucho went to the countryside and bought a donkey from an old farmer for $500. The old man agreed to deliver the animal the next day. But the next day, the farmer said to him:

I'm sorry, but I have bad news: the donkey died.'

"Well," said Lucho, "then give me back my money."

The vendor repied - 'I can't. I've already spent it.

Lucho told him: 'Fine, it doesn't matter, just give me the donkey.'

'And what for? 'asked the old man. 'What are you going to do with it?'

'I'm going to raffle it off' , he replied.

'Are you crazy? How can you raffle off a dead donkey?'

'I'm not going to tell anyone he's dead.'

A month after this event, the farmer met Lucho again and asked him:

'What happened to the donkey?'

Lucho replied:

'I raffled it off, sold 500 tickets at $20 each and won $10,000'

'And nobody complained? ' the old man asked.

'Only the winner, but I gave him back his $20.''

Over time, Lucho became a politician, eventually becoming a congressman, then a senator, then a minister, and then a senator again, and then a congressman once more, all while using everyone's money. And that money ended up in his pockets. And we all know how ! A person who never worked a day in his life, never did anything productive, is now a millionaire because he found plenty of easy targets along the way, and he raffled them off to a lot of naive people.

The best part of this story is that, according to him and those like him, he keeps finding more dead donkeys.

George Orwell said:

*"A people that elects corrupt, useless, cynical, and traitorous people is not a victim, IT IS AN ACCOMPLICE.

A German Shepherd… alone in the rain.

Once loved.

Now forgotten.

He used to play with a little boy.

He used to guard the home.

But one day… he was left on the street.

No name. No family. No home. Just pain.

Days passed. No proper food. Cold rain. Mud. Silence.

But still… he waited.

For someone to take him back home.

One day, he was taken to a clinic.

He sat quietly. Scared… broken… unsure.

Then something changed . A gentle hand touched his head.

For the first time in forever… he felt love again.

Not all wounds are visible. But kindness can heal them.

To the person who dumped these dogs right in front of me, I hope you understand what you did was wrong.

I will never understand how someone can look at two pit bulls—loyal, gentle souls—and decide they do not matter.

They were left on a wet back road, cars speeding past, rain pouring down. Confused. Scared. Running in circles like they were trying to find the people who suddenly disappeared from their lives.

It took time to catch them. They were shaking. One kept running, the other stayed close—like they were the only thing each other had left. That kind of fear does not come from nowhere.

But look at them now.

One is finally asleep in the passenger seat, completely exhausted. The other is sitting up, quietly watching the road… like he is still not sure this is real.

That part hurts the most.

But tonight, they are safe.

They are warm. They are dry. And they are not being left behind ever again.

I have what it takes to make sure they get the life they deserved from the start—love, stability, and a real home.

Because pit bulls are not disposable. They are not dangerous.

They are loyal dogs… just waiting for someone to choose them.

Tonight… someone did.

One day, a man was jogging near a railway track for exercise. Suddenly, he suffered a heart attack and lost consciousness. He fell down and ended up lying on the railway tracks.

At the same time, a train was coming closer and closer at high speed

A stray Pitbull dog saw everything happening. Without any fear or hesitation, the dog ran toward the man. It grabbed his jacket tightly with its teeth.

The dog’s name was “Hero”.

Even though the dog was much smaller than a human and the man weighed over 80 kg, Hero used all its strength to pull him off the railway track. The dog was shaking and tired, but it did not stop.

Seconds before the train arrived, Hero finally succeeded. The man was pulled safely away from the tracks just in time.

A moment later, the train passed by at full speed.

The dog was exhausted and lay down beside the man. It gently licked his face, as if to say, “You are safe now.”

Soon, the man regained consciousness. When he realized that a stray dog had saved his life, he immediately decided to adopt him and take him home.

He said, “He didn’t just save my life… he gave me my life back.”

This story reminds us that sometimes, the greatest heroes don’t walk on two legs.

John Bellamy

You make, and take, from the news that which you wish to see and hear. You observe what you want and comment of things that affect you personally. If you don't like something, do not read it and move on but do not shy away from what IS going on in the world of which - you are a part. World news is so easy to find these days and differing opinions not hard to find. Having an opinion is vital and being a ' don't care' person helps no one. So open your mind - open your heart - open your awareness and ALWAYS be open to new ideas.
