‘Too little, too late’: damning report condemns UK’s Covid response
The UK’s response to Covid was “too little, too late”, a damning official report on the handling of the pandemic has concluded, saying the introduction of a lockdown even a week earlier than happened could have saved more than 20,000 lives.
The document also has stinging criticism of a “toxic and chaotic” culture inside Boris Johnson’s Downing Street – which it said the then prime minister actively embraced.

Man made homeless after council forced him to demolish two-bed cabin

A man who was made homeless after his local council ordered him to demolish a two-bedroom cabin that he had built for his family said he has little faith in the Government’s housing plan for ‘starter homes’.
JB COMMENTS From a personal recent experience that actually happened today - 17/11/25-;- Where a local homeless man I have been helping, has his sleeping pod taken away from him by the very homeless charity who gave it to him in the first place and they took all his personal posessions and mediaction while he was working for a few hours at my hotel - and they left him on the coldest night of the year - without any sleep pod or his meds and I have complained loudly THIS MORNING to the charity about their lack of care and professionalism that takes away the pod and leaves a man deliberately out in the cold.
So many of these so called ' charities that help' - seem to help themselves more than they do the people they are geared to helping.

Trump urges Republicans to vote for release of Epstein files
Donald Trump has urged his fellow Republicans in Congress to vote for the release of files related to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Mr Trump said on Truth Social that politicians from his own party should back releasing the Justice Department documents.
"House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files, because we have nothing to hide.
"And it's time to move on from this Democrat Hoax perpetrated by Radical Left Lunatics in order to deflect from the Great Success of the Republican Party..." Mr Trump wrote on Sunday.

It would appear that tons of MAGA - ( Make America Great Again ) Trump followers, are loosing their jobs and homes because of thier rabid love affair with Trump and how it turns on them in the end and destroys their lives. This story is common in the USA with things like this happening a lot more often than we read about. sad thing is, trump has made it perfectly clear he doesn't give a flying fuck for anyone, not for a single follower - except those he fears like Putin and other genuine billionairs whose arses he rims at any moment.

A judge sentenced a Weirton, West Virginia, man to one to five years in prison for pushing his male landlord off a rooftop after the landlord blew a kiss at him.
A 36-year-old man named Michael Besozzi II allegedly pushed his landlord off of scaffolding in front of the house where Besozzi lived (which the landlord owned) on April 2024 following a dispute over the landlord playing loud music.
