THE CRUELEST REVENGE IN HISTORY -

and at the hands of a women as well..

I know many of you will assume this is another article about Trump and his vindictive manner, his revemge filled heart and the bile that dribbles from his mouth almost all of the time - BUT IS IT NOT.

SURPRISED ???

Prince Igor Rurik, ruler of Kiev in 945 AD, was assassinated by a tribe in Eastern Europe called the Drevlians. The tribe tied him to two bent trees, and when the trees were released, Igor’s body was torn apart and his blood spilled everywhere.

( oh dear, pass the vomit bag while I throw up... )

After his death, his wife, Princess Olga, took power. The Drevlians sent their best men to persuade Olga to marry their prince, who wanted to rule Kiev and seize the throne—not out of love for her, but for power.

Olga sought to avenge her husband by burying the tribe’s envoys alive. She then sent a messenger to Prince Mal, the Drevlians’ leader, pretending she would marry him. She claimed to keep her best men and circulated them among her people to prepare for the announcement. She also requested more brave men from the Drevlians.

When the Drevlians arrived in Kiev, they were welcomed and honored by the queen, only to be locked inside her castle. Olga burned them alive. At that time, she organized grand funeral ceremonies for her husband, inviting many Drevlians and their soldiers. During the funeral, her troops attacked the Drevlians and killed 5,000 soldiers who had attended.

In this way, Olga eliminated the Drevlians’ best men and prepared her armies to invade and destroy the rest of the tribe. She besieged the Drevlians, and during the siege, they begged her to spare them in exchange for their honey production.

Olga agreed to spare them in exchange for three vats of honey per house, ensuring that her name would be remembered in Drevlians’ history for what she had done to their leaders after they killed her husband Igor.

The Drevlians agreed, astonished. But their astonishment was short-lived. After the honey was delivered, Olga’s soldiers tied pieces of cloth soaked in sulfur and set on fire to the legs of birds, letting them return to the farmers’ nests, setting the homes ablaze.

As the townspeople fled, Olga ordered her soldiers to capture them; some were killed, others enslaved.

Thus, Olga annihilated an entire tribe to avenge her beloved husband, as history tells.

It just goes to show that you cannot trust a women - Here she is - after they murdered husband and DEAR GOD does she take revenge or what - and it sounds very much like the wedding scene in Game of Thrones.

How on Earth we ever build civilizations when we were as busy mass murdering and tearing people apart and having just celebrated Guy Fawkes day where a man was horribly butchered we were so cruel and ignorant back then, but I suppose without TV and the internet, you have to make whatever entertainment you have available.

It just horrifies me the blood and guts spilled all over - usually - religion.
