Our New York apartment was on the 15th floor and viewed into 7 different apartment buildings and like everyone whose apartment is largely glass, we had binoculars / telescope to spy on the neighbors, just as they spied on us. We rarely actually saw anything - just people getting on with their lives and no one, absolutely no one, ever shut the blinds for privacy, this is afterall, New York.
