John: We have hundreds of Muslim Migrants living an a couple of large hotels near me. By and large they are well behaved although there have been a couple of instances with the police. A few days ago I was '' given the eye' by this very handsome migrant and I feared I was about to be beaten up - as I am not the most masculine man and my gayness can be easily seen and as most Muslims are against LGBT - I feared the worst. I work in newsgents and was on my own after lunch and he came in and I must admit I had noticed him before, and he VERY nervously told me he was gay and that he was frightened his friends would find out as they would beat him up and probably kill him. He said he knew no one out of the 500 or so migrants living locally was also gay and he felt isolated in a world where he was frightened all the time. I was afraid what to say or do but I listened and told him if I could help in any way I would, but he said that would be too dangerous. He told me his brother had also been gay and was bruutally killed 3 years Prior ' back home' by a group of guys running him over with a truck repeatedly as he had hidden his own gayness ever since.

The thought that Allah wanted anyone to kill another of His creations is bizarre and all because of religion.

I asked what he did for sex and he said he didn'y dare, and was aware how damgerous his position was.

he pops in acouple of times a week to the shop for cigarettes and we talk and sadly, there is nothing he or I can do as he is too fearful, but how just talking to me helps.

We in England take our Gay Rights so much for granted and when you meet someone like him, it breaks my heart. Martin.
