The wolf looked at the dog sharply and asked:
“Cousin, what do you think of people?”
The dog lowered his eyes. His voice was quiet, exhausted:
“When they want to humiliate someone... they call them a dog.”

The wolf raised his eyebrows in surprise:
“You hurt their children?”
“Never.”
“You betrayed them?”
“No, never.”
“You guarded them, protected them from me night after night?”
“Yes, always.”
The wolf grinned bitterly:
“And tell me... what do they call those they admire? Brave, wise, free?”
The dog sighed deeply:
“They call them... wolves.”
There was silence. Finally, the wolf shook his head with a gentle smile:
"Didn't we tell you from the beginning to be one of us?
I destroyed their herds, frightened their children, caused them trouble...
And yet, when they want to exalt someone, they compare him to me?"
He approached the dog and added in a low whisper:
"Remember, cousin: people honor those who oppress them and despise those who serve them faithfully. I don't understand it either, but that's how they are."

A DOGS LOVE
After two long years in the military, my husband finally came home, and I can’t explain how emotional that moment was. He walked through the door with a big smile, excited to see the family he had missed so much.
But what surprised me the most was how our golden retriever reacted.
She had been his loyal friend all this time, waiting for him every day. When she saw him come in, she barked happily and ran straight to him.

I was lucky to capture this special moment. My husband held his faithful dog close and hugged her like he never wanted to let go. You could see the joy and love in her eyes. Her happy bark, wagging tail, and his warm hug were perfect. It was like they had never been apart.
This wasn’t just a reunion. It was a deep show of love between a man and his dog, a bond that stayed strong despite the distance and time apart. Watching this, I realized that even after two years, their connection was as strong as ever. That pure, true love reminds us that the small moments in life are often the most important.
I feel lucky to have saved this memory forever. It shows not only my husband’s return but also the powerful love between a man and his best friend. There’s something magical about this bond—a feeling of safety and belonging that can’t be found anywhere else.
This picture stands for reunions, joy, and the strength of a love that lasts. Every hug, smile, and look they share tells a story of loyalty, courage, and simple happiness. In a busy world, moments like this remind us what really matters: love, family, and loyalty.

I went to a lovely little vape shop in Salisbury. There were maybe six young men in there and the clerk, and of course something gave away that I was not local…very likely my mouth.
Of course after the initial welcomes and the obligatory “What brings you to Salisbury?” the elephant in the room had to be dealt with. The giant orange elephant.
“So…what do you really think of Trump?”
I had to take to mind my position in the country kind enough to allow my big colonial feet to tread its ancient soil. Historically speaking, America is rather a wayward teenager in the great global family. I was at that moment an ambassador of the common folk, some of whom chose a leader who was not held in high regard. I knew I must choose my words with careful diplomatic thought.
“I think you’d call him a wanker,” I said. “Can I say wanker in here?”
The entire shop broke into applause.

In the USA - ICE agents would brutally pound him to the ground, molest and abuse in the excuse of arresting him, chain and shackle him and throw him in with the wolves, a pen filled with others many innocent, some not, but all worthy. In this olding cell he would soon rise to the top as people recognise him for who he is and eventually ICE agents would see their wrong doing and stop being ICA agebts who do nothing but abuse.

You make, and take, from the news that which you wish to see and hear. You observe what you want and comment of things that affect you personally. If you don't like something, do not read it and move on but do not shy away from what IS going on in the world of which - you are a part. World news is so easy to find these days and differing opinions not hard to find. Having an opinion is vital and being a ' don't care' person helps no one. So open your mind - open your heart - open your awareness and ALWAYS be open to new ideas.
