Bruce Willis

Walter Bruce Willis (born March 19, 1955) is a retired American actor. He achieved fame with a leading role on the comedy-drama series Moonlighting (1985–1989) and has appeared in over one hundred films, gaining recognition as an action hero for his portrayal of John McClane in the Die Hard franchise (1988–2013).

He was diagnosed with aphasia in March 2022. In February 2023, his family revealed he had “frontotemporal dementia (FTD), affecting personality, behavior, and language.”

His family later revealed that he had to leave Hollywood due to aphasia. “A disorder affecting speech, comprehension, reading, and writing.”

His wife Emma shared that she went to see a specialist to help her learn how to care for her husband.

The family shared his diagnosis publicly in 2023. Today, Bruce Willis is reported to be in a "stable" state.

His daughter, Rumer, said her dad is "doing great". He celebrated his 70th birthday in March 19, born in 1955.

She gave her dad an unforgettable gift --a granddaughter named Louetta Isley Thomas Willis in April 2023. “A grandfather for the first time.”

Mr. Willis has lost his verbal communication abilities. He can no longer speak or read, and “although he still has his voice, his brain is unable to formulate words correctly.”

He is receiving care and support surrounded by love --from his family, his daughters, ex-wife Demi Moore, and wife, Emma.

The family states that their dad does not express complaints, seeks no sympathy, and considers himself fortunate to have this time with them.
