Remember - for us older guys, the campaign of

PLANT A TREE - IN '73.

This was where the government helped pay for trees to be planted by the public and if I remember correctly, the trees were subsidized by the government as an incentive to plant more trees.

With global climate change and the need to store more carbon, trees are an ideal solution and they beautify the country.
