The bodies in charge of the sport, which is inspired by the author's series of books, say the change is being made because Rowling “has increasingly come under scrutiny for her anti-trans positions in recent years”.

JB Comments: I use to admire this women and in many ways I still do but her stance on being anti trans has lost her MILLIONS of adoring fans and mountains of respect, LOST. Now I have absolutely no time for her or anything new she cares to write and while she will be a billionaire soon, it's shameful how ignorant she has shown herself to be. She could have been such a role model for the youth of today.

She could have set such an example for people of how to behave.

She could have been so much more and yet has chosen a bigoted approach to life and that truly is shameful.
