( Vegan - Gluten Free has to be purchased and cooked seperately and this is time consuming and very VERY expensive. You are welcome to bring your own breads - jams etc.
If you have allergic reactions to nuts - cereals - oats - soyabean - celery - mustard - sesame - lupins - molluscs - sulphur dioxide - eggs - crustaceans - fish etc. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO INFORM US and keep reminding us throughout your stay and please be aware of YOUR OWN DIET. ALL FOODS WILL CONTAIN ONE OF THE ABOVE and as we are not food scientists and as very few chefs / cooks or even Dinner Ladies have training in these newly informed allegens, and where my own local Health Inspector admitted he did not know what Lupins were on this list (the Lupin flower in Europe is often used to make flour out of - unheard of in the UK though ) we will do what we can to assist but the onus really does have to be on the person with the allergic reaction to be aware - be careful - and be alert. We do not read minds.
' Oh for my sake - will you settle down, the kitchen is busy so have some patience. Mark, stop irritating Mary - I want here on my right so leave here alone, and Thomas - stop moaning about the wine , of course it is really Merlot - it aint from Aldi - you always have to doubt everything all the time and Judas, you seem a bit flush with money this evening - you had a won on the lottery or something ? '
Voice from the kitchen:-
' Okay settle down, your food is on its way - Okay - who ordered the pork loin ?'
